Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Ruhi and Abhira dancing joyfully. Manish watches them and reminisces about Akshu and Abhira. Aryan remarks that they are dancing like sisters. Abhira compliments Ruhi on her Pahadi dance, and Ruhi proudly mentions that her Maasi is from Kasauli. Abhira, surprised, says Ruhi never shared that before. Ruhi walks away. Rohit praises Ruhi for dancing well. Manish then takes the floor and dances with Abhira, but Ruhi quickly pulls him away.
Meanwhile, Armaan takes Abhira aside, commenting that the function went well. He tries to romance her, but she teases him, and he affectionately tells her that she belongs to him. Ruhi, feeling upset, questions Manish about his presence at the event. Manish explains that it’s a function in the Poddar family and that Abhira is about to become part of their family. He gently suggests that Ruhi get used to having Abhira around. However, Ruhi, feeling emotional, accuses him of only fulfilling his duty towards Abhira. She tearfully pleads with him not to attend the wedding and asks him to go home.
Armaan tries to get closer to Abhira and kiss her, but she playfully moves away. He follows her, and the song “Falaq Se” plays in the background. As Abhira spots Manish, she goes to check on him. Vidya asks Krish and Aryan to remove the decoration cloth from a photo. Manish, meanwhile, doesn’t notice the photo. Sensing something is wrong, Abhira asks Manish if he is okay and tells him not to lie. She feels like something bad is going to happen. Armaan tries to comfort her, agreeing with her but urging Manish to stay. Manish insists he must leave, and Abhira guesses that Ruhi is behind his sudden departure.
Armaan suggests that perhaps it’s difficult for Manish to see them together, as he loves Abhira deeply. He advises her not to pressure Manish, reminding her that he has already blessed them. He asks Abhira if she trusts him, and she nods. Armaan reassures her that everything will be fine and pulls her back to the dance floor. Together, they join the others in dancing.
Manish, however, is still haunted by Ruhi’s words and returns to the venue. He is stunned when he sees a photo of Akshu and Abhinav. Overwhelmed, he realizes that Abhira is Akshu’s daughter. He exclaims that his heart always knew there was a deeper connection with her, confirming that Abhira is his blood. Manish pieces together that Akshu must have been close to him in Mussoorie, and he feels overjoyed at finding his granddaughter. He becomes determined to tell Abhira that he is her *Parnanu* and to ask her where Akshu is, so he can bring her home.
As these thoughts flood his mind, Manish suddenly feels unwell and begins to leave. Just as he turns to go, Abhira senses something and glances in his direction.
