Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 7th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Manish inviting Armaan and Rohit to stay back and enjoy some golgappas. Rohit makes a lighthearted joke. Armaan urges them to come home with them, saying they wouldn’t mind becoming Ghar Jamai. Rohit quips that Dadi would likely have an issue with that. Manish expresses concern about the situation being risky and suggests they go home instead. Ruhi agrees, and she and Rohit leave hand in hand. Armaan offers his arm to Abhira, who goes over to hug Manish and thanks him. He encourages her to keep smiling and gives a meaningful glance to Armaan.
At the temple, Manish ties the Mata’s chunri and prays for Ruhi and Abhira, expressing his intention to reveal the truth to Ruhi and hopes she will accept Abhira. Sanjay arrives and claims that Manish’s wish has been granted, showing him some papers. Manish inquires about how he obtained his will. Sanjay insists he will tell Ruhi that Abhira is her sister, Akshara’s daughter. Manish warns him to stay away from them and reprimands Sanjay. Unfazed, Sanjay suggests that revealing the truth will ignite conflict within the Goenka and Poddar families. Manish questions what Sanjay hopes to gain from this. Sanjay replies, “Peace.” Manish pleads with him not to proceed, but Sanjay proposes a condition: Manish must apologize to him during the Navratri puja tomorrow. He further describes the potential fallout of Ruhi’s heartbreak, Abhira and Ruhi’s friendship disintegrating, and the ensuing destruction of both families. Manish reluctantly agrees to the condition, stating he will apologize but requests Sanjay keep it a secret.
Armaan and the others return home, laughing. Sanjay and his group observe them. Sanjay extends an invitation for the puja the next day. Armaan suggests to Abhira that she should go to sleep and mentions he will find another place to stay. Abhira insists there’s no room available, as guests are staying over. He mentions he’ll go to the outhouse. She replies that she needs her space, while he claims the same. Krish heads outside and overhears Sanjay conversing with a lawyer, causing him to stumble. Sanjay notices him and tells Krish to go ahead and inform Abhira about the truth. When Krish asks about Sanjay’s intentions, Sanjay says he knows Krish’s career is on the decline and offers to help him get a big performance opportunity in exchange for his silence regarding Abhira.
The next morning, everyone gathers for the puja, and “Yeh Rishta…” plays in the background. Abhira helps Ruhi, assuring her that she won’t stumble. As the music continues, Adi stops Vidya. Ruhi thanks Abhira for her support, and the Goenkas arrive. Ruhi hugs Abhira and offers an apology. Abhira admits that the past three months have been challenging for her, but she appreciates Ruhi’s support and their rekindled friendship. They share a laugh and notice Manish smiling at them. Ruhi asks Abhira if she can request something: forgiveness for Armaan. Abhira’s expression turns somber. Meanwhile, Sanjay retrieves a pendrive, and Krish watches closely. Ruhi tries to explain her feelings to Abhira, who responds that the situation is more complicated than that. Manish contemplates his decision to apologize to Sanjay for the sake of their happiness and approaches him. He says, “I apologize for my behavior towards you.” Sanjay asks what he’s doing. Manish acknowledges he was wrong and apologizes sincerely. Abhira and Ruhi insist that he did nothing wrong. Sanjay, with a smirk, asks what Manish is really saying and gestures for him to bow down before him.
