Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 6th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Abhir taunting Manish. He says that Manish has acted, and that he will leave him alone again. He bets on it. Armaan runs to grab the papers from Sanjay. Sanjay questions him, asking how he could do such a thing. Armaan looks tense. Abhira says that Manish is a good person. Abhir responds, saying that when he and his mumma needed him, Manish showed no goodness. He didn’t even think about his mumma’s pregnancy. He says Manish’s image in their hearts is fake, and that he will do a favor by revealing his true nature. Abhira wonders if she made a mistake by bringing him home and feels confused.
Armaan begs Sanjay, saying that if this matter comes out… Sanjay interrupts, saying he didn’t think of this beforehand. He says Armaan can write love letters to Abhira, but he should be careful not to leave them around for others to read. He continues, warning that if the kids had gotten hold of it, things could have gone wrong. Armaan apologizes and acknowledges the mistake. Sanjay says that he sometimes gives the right advice. He gets a call and walks away. Abhira insists that Manish’s love is genuine. Abhir challenges her, telling her she will lose this bet. He asks the men to bring his luggage and keep it wherever. He plays the drums loudly to annoy them. Ruhi stops him and breaks the sticks. Abhir shouts in frustration.
Kiara and Krish chat and smile as they talk. Charu takes their phones, telling Krish to focus on his life first. She tells Kiara that she should focus on her career and studies. Kiara says that she knows Charu dislikes Abhir, but it seems destined that he is now a part of their home. Charu and Krish ask Kiara to forget about Abhir. Ruhi confronts Abhir, accusing him of coming home just to trouble Manish. Abhir replies that he could oust anyone because of her. They argue. Abhira wonders if she made a mistake by bringing Abhir home. Manish says he has done wrong by him, but he won’t let him leave this house, not ever. Abhir notices Akshu and Aarohi’s pictures on the wall.
He turns to Manish and asks why he wasn’t there for mumma in her final moments. Swarna says they didn’t know what was happening. Surekha adds that Armaan and Abhira were with her. Abhir asks how she passed away, whether she said anything about him. He pushes them to remember, questioning how it happened. Ruhi interrupts, saying it’s because of Armaan…
Abhir asks in disbelief, “Our mumma left us because of him? Why are you still with him?” Abhira tries to explain, but Abhir tells her to be quiet. He says he wanted to find mumma, question her, fix everything, and have a happy family. He says she deserved his support and love, but her husband took those rights away from him. Ruhi responds that Armaan took their mum, just like Akshara took her mum. She asks him to imagine what she went through. She says that pain and betrayal were all she got in life. Abhira tells them both that they are alike. She says that happiness is a choice, and they have chosen to hate. Ruhi retorts that they are not shallow like her and that their pain and feelings are real. Abhir asks them to stop fighting and says he doesn’t want to talk to either of them. He storms off.
Dadi and Vidya invite guests. Rohit picks up a letter and asks what it is. Armaan responds, asking why it matters. They argue. Sanjay says that Abhir will come to their house for the rituals. Dadi says he won’t. Abhir hugs Akshu’s photo and gazes at her room, crying. He accidentally cuts his hand on a broken glass window. Abhira enters and tends to his wound. She comforts him, but he tells her to leave. She refuses, saying he can’t get rid of her. She adds that when someone cares for us, we like it. He used to like it when he was with his mum and dad. Abhir recalls Akshu and Abhinav. Abhira tells him that she wishes for him to smile again. She tells him that it was mumma’s last wish for her and Armaan to marry, and she entrusted her hand to him. She believes that she couldn’t have made a wrong decision because he is a good person, just like Abhir. She says he is also good, and that he will come for the rituals tomorrow. She shows him a picture of the baby, saying it’s as cute as he is. Abhir smiles at the picture. Abhira says that it was mumma’s wish for him to join in the rituals. She wants him to be part of the ceremony and make her happy.
Vidya asks who will perform the rituals. Dadi says Rohit, as Daksh’s uncle. Vidya expresses concern about what happened with Rohit. Rohit says that he won’t do the ritual as Daksh’s uncle. Armaan tries to suggest an alternative. Dadi asks Rohit if he can perform the ritual, but Armaan suggests that Krish do it if Rohit isn’t willing. Vidya receives a call from the priest, who informs her that it’s important for Daksh. Dadi asks what the priest said, and Vidya replies that Ruhi shouldn’t sit in the puja as it will bring bad luck for Daksh. Ruhi and Abhira overhear this. Rohit looks at Ruhi and says he doesn’t believe it, insisting that Ruhi should sit in the puja. Armaan interrupts, calling the idea of bad omens outdated and ridiculous. Vidya, however, looks at Ruhi and says that she should sit in her room. Ruhi says she didn’t want to participate in the puja anyway and will stay in her room. She leaves. Rohit looks at Armaan.
