Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th October 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Abhira calling Krish, asking him to take Rohit and Ruhi out of the house. She says she will prepare a surprise for them. Armaan says he will spoil the baby and get everything the baby wants. Armaan and Abhira go shopping for toys. They both like the same toy and end up fighting over it. They see each other and continue their shopping. Ruhi looks at a schedule and asks, “What’s this? A five-hour yoga class?” Rohit replies, “Yes, it’s strange.” Charu adds, “They will do massage therapy as well.” Aryan tries to explain, and Krish laughs. Ruhi teases, “You seem to know a lot about babies.” Kiara asks Ruhi to go to the class. Rohit remarks, “They seem really excited to send us.” Ruhi agrees, “Yes.” Charu says, “It’s our duty to take care of the baby.” They finally send Rohit and Ruhi off. Krish informs Abhira that they have left.
Armaan and Abhira arrive home, and everyone helps paint the room. The song *Jo dil se kahe* plays in the background. Dadi and Manisha watch. Manisha asks, “Can’t you do anything for Armaan and Abhira? They don’t seem happy.” Dadi replies, “They have to find happiness on their own. We can’t help if their relationship weakens.” Armaan lifts Abhira in his arms, and everyone playfully throws paint at each other. Abhira gets emotional, recalling everything, and begins to cry. She hides under a blanket, saying, “I’m so foolish. I kept saying it’s our baby.” She becomes sad. Later, everyone surprises Rohit and Ruhi by taking them to the baby’s newly decorated room. Rohit and Ruhi are overwhelmed with joy and emotion upon seeing it. Ruhi remembers her childhood and tears up. Rohit, concerned, asks, “What’s wrong? Are you in pain?”
Ruhi, smiling through her tears, says, “No, I’m just happy. The room is beautiful. I read in the pregnancy book that sometimes you feel like crying. Thank you so much, I love it.” Krish reveals, “This was all Abhira’s idea.” Armaan and Abhira share a smile, and Ruhi hugs Abhira, crying, “I love butterflies.” Abhira, touched, says, “I knew it. I accidentally kept this toy, but it belongs to you.” Ruhi thanks her, and Armaan walks out. Abhira tells Ruhi not to cry. Just then, Vidya arrives and pulls Ruhi away from Abhira, scolding them. She taunts Abhira and takes Ruhi with her, leaving Abhira in tears. Abhira goes to Armaan, holding him for comfort. Armaan asks, “Why did everyone come out?” Vidya creates a scene, and Rohit and Ruhi suggest staying in the guest room. Vidya is shocked and exclaims, “What? How did they turn your room into the baby’s room without asking me? The guest room will be too small for all of you.” Krish explains, “The bed broke because of us.”
Aryan offers, “Krish can shift to my room. You can take my room.” But Vidya refuses, saying, “No, you both have a family now. You should stay in the largest room in the house.” She then orders Armaan and Abhira to vacate their room. Everyone is concerned. Armaan and Abhira agree, “We’ll shift rooms.” Vidya firmly tells Rohit, “It’s decided. You two will stay in their room.” Ruhi protests, “We don’t want their room. We’ll stay in ours.” Vidya asks, “Did they even ask me?” Dadi silently observes. Vidya continues, “We will prepare the largest room for the baby. What was the point of doing all this?” Armaan admits, “You’re right, we rushed.” Rohit reassures him, “No, you gave us a wonderful surprise.” Vidya, unmoved, says, “Don’t get emotional where your feelings won’t be valued. Don’t regret later.” Armaan stops Rohit from speaking further. Manisha, upset, tells Dadi to intervene. Vidya accuses, “You’ve shown your true colors. You’re turning Maasa against me.” They argue, and Dadi leaves.
