Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with everyone exchanging New Year wishes. Manisha wishes Armaan and jokes with him. Rohit arrives with Daksh and wishes everyone. Armaan greets Daksh. Dadi and Vidya share their wishes. Abhira walks into the house, smiling. Dadi asks Armaan about Abhira. Abhira replies, “I’ve come to give an answer.” She greets Vidya and touches her feet. She is taken aback when she notices Vidya’s anklet. Abhira holds Vidya’s foot. Vidya asks, “What are you doing?” Abhira starts crying. She asks, “Did Abhir’s accident happen because of your car?” Madhav becomes worried. Everyone is confused. Abhira demands that Vidya answer. Armaan steps in and says, “That’s enough, Abhira.” He pulls her away. Vidya stumbles, and Dadi helps her steady herself. Abhira insists that Vidya tell the truth to Armaan. Armaan asks, “What truth? Are you out of your mind?” Abhira tells Vidya to confess. Dadi scolds her and asks her to leave. Abhira says, “It’s my right and duty to get justice for my brother.” She continues, “A mother wouldn’t leave a child injured on the road. You heard his cries and didn’t even look back at him.” Vidya begins to cry.
Abhira talks about Vidya’s missing anklet. She urges Vidya to speak the truth. Vidya finally breaks down, saying, “Enough, stop it, these accusations are true.” Everyone is stunned. Vidya sobs as she admits, “My car hit Abhir’s car, but it wasn’t intentional. I made a mistake. Please trust me. Don’t go to the police.” She pleads, “Please, don’t do this.” Manish enters the scene and overhears everything. He says, “The guilty must be punished, Vidya ji.” He scolds her. Vidya faints. Madhav rushes to her side and asks them to call a doctor. Manish says, “I’ll call the police.” Dadi asks him to look at Vidya’s condition. Abhira tells Manish to remain silent. He insists that she will face punishment.
Surekha calls Manish, asking him to come home quickly as Abhir is hard to handle. Manish leaves in a hurry. Rohit stops Ruhi from following. Abhira walks away in tears. Abhir starts throwing things in frustration. He says, “My reality won’t change. Music is my therapy. I need to practice.” Swarna and Surekha try to calm him down. The doctor treats Vidya and advises the family to ensure she avoids stress. She then leaves. Madhav looks deeply sad. Dadi tries to console him, and he hugs her. Armaan looks worried. Abhira and Manish arrive home and find Abhir shattered and overwhelmed. Vidya regains consciousness.
Vidya tells Armaan everything. Dadi, Madhav, and Rohit listen carefully. Armaan tells her to rest. Vidya explains, “I wanted to help him. I didn’t know he was Abhir. He was wearing a helmet. I tried to remove it, but then I heard a police siren. I panicked and fled. I came to the concert to tell you and ask for help, but Abhir showed up. Trust me.” Abhir, determined, says, “I want to find the person responsible. Until then, I can’t breathe.” Abhira says, “We’ve found the culprit. Vidya did this.” Everyone is left in shock.
