The episode begins with Vidya urging Armaan to listen to her. She hears the news of Abhir’s accident, which occurred due to his carelessness; he was driving the wrong way and was drunk. Vidya recalls the incident. Abhira becomes upset and vents their frustration by throwing things. She says the media is tarnishing Abhir’s name. Armaan hugs and comforts her. Vidya says, “I can’t reveal this truth, or it will ruin their relationship.” Ruhi mentions that her dad has gone to the police station. Manish and Sanjay argue. Armaan arrives and tells Sanjay to remain silent. Madhav arrives with shocking news: someone hit Abhir’s bike and fled. Everyone is stunned. Madhav says only a heartless person could do this. The police believe it was a hit-and-run case based on the condition of Abhir’s bike and tire marks. Vidya cries, thinking about how it wasn’t intentional. She prays. Abhira and everyone look on, praying for Abhir’s recovery. Vidya and the others rush to see him. Abhir, seeing them, asks who allowed them in, saying he doesn’t want to see the Poddar family. Armaan tells them they should leave. Manish hugs Abhir, who says he is fine. He tries to sit up but struggles. Dadi suggests they go home. Vidya asks why he can’t get up. The doctor enters. Abhira asks if he’s having trouble sitting up. The doctor apologizes and says they did their best, but Abhir’s legs won’t function anymore. Everyone is shocked. Abhira asks how this could have happened, as he was fine after the concert. The doctor explains that his legs were severely injured, and if he had been brought to the hospital right after the accident, his legs might have been saved. Unfortunately, the nerves were damaged, and nothing can be done now. Vidya breaks down. Manish angrily scolds the doctor, demanding that he fix Abhir’s condition. The doctor leaves. Abhira tries to comfort Abhir. Ruhi also attempts to console him. He tells them, “I don’t want your pity. I want my old life back. I’ll never get it now. My career is over. Rockstar Abhir is finished.” He insists they leave him alone. Everyone leaves.
Manish cries for Abhir. Abhira makes Madhav promise to get the person responsible punished. Madhav assures her he will. Everyone returns home. Kiara says she wants to meet Abhir, but Dadi tells her to wait until later. Rohit asks Vidya to apologize to Abhir and explain the situation with Kiara. Vidya feels tense. Abhira cares for Abhir, giving him his childhood blanket. She hugs him. “Yeh Rishta Kya…” plays.
