Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 25th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Armaan asking about the mangalsutra. Sanjay says, “It’s right here. I’ve seen your determination, and I know you would marry Abhira even with a simple black thread if needed.” He hands over the mangalsutra. Krish whispers to Kajal, “Since when did Sanjay become so thoughtful?” Armaan then fills sindoor in Abhira’s hairline and makes her wear the mangalsutra. They both recall their shared moments. Their wedding is finally complete, and everyone claps. Armaan and Abhira exchange smiles, while Vidya stands sadly. Manish blesses them as the song “Hamari Banno Pyaari” plays in the background. Abhira suddenly hears Akshara’s voice, and both she and Armaan notice someone dressed in white walking away. Armaan says, “I’m sure that was Akshara. I love you more than you know.” Abhira responds, “You’re such a fool.” He smiles, saying, “But you’re mine,” and gently wipes away her tears as “Yeh Rishta” plays softly.
Dadi then announces that the new bride should enter the house. Ruhi steps forward with the aarti plate. Rohit comments, “You made all these arrangements?” Ruhi proudly says, “Yes, it’s my gift to them.” Dadi nods approvingly and says, “Vidya will perform the grahpravesh rituals.” She calls Vidya, who slowly walks forward. Armaan and Abhira exchange happy glances, but Vidya’s face shows no joy. As Dadi instructs her to do the aarti, Vidya unexpectedly performs a reverse aarti. Dadi is taken aback and asks, “What are you doing, Vidya?”
Suddenly, Vidya drops the aarti and furiously scolds Abhira. She turns to Armaan and says, “Today you’ve proven that you’re a stepson.” Armaan stumbles back in shock, and Abhira quickly supports him. Vidya’s words grow harsher as she curses them both, saying, “I curse you! Your marriage will never be successful.” Everyone is left in disbelief, tears welling in their eyes. Vidya continues her tirade, beating the plate in anger and accusing Abhira of bringing misfortune and sorrow to the family. Dadi tries to stop her, pleading, “Vidya, enough!” But Vidya refuses to listen, saying, “This is just the beginning.” Madhav becomes enraged but remains silent as Vidya storms out of the house.
Armaan, shaken, runs after Vidya, begging her to stop and listen. As he chases her, the gathbandhan tied during the wedding falls to the ground. Abhira watches in tears as Armaan trips and falls. She shouts for him, and everyone rushes to help. Madhav tries to calm Armaan, saying, “Leave Vidya alone for now. You’ve married Abhira, and in time, Vidya will come to understand. She won’t stand in the way of your happiness.” Meanwhile, Dadi instructs Ruhi to take Abhira to her room.
Ruhi takes Abhira aside, but Abhira, filled with frustration, snaps, “What is all this drama?” Ruhi tries to calm her down, saying, “Please relax.” Abhira retorts, “I’m getting angrier by the second seeing all of this. Stop playing games with me!” Ruhi assures her, “I won’t interfere in your relationship with Armaan. I understand you need time. I’ve realized I’ve been foolish. Armaan has made me see that my love for him wasn’t real. I’m sorry for how I behaved. I want to give my marriage a genuine chance, and you and Armaan don’t need my good wishes because I know you two truly love each other. You will be happy together.”
Abhira, still suspicious, says, “I’m not falling for your sweet words, Ruhi.” Ruhi nods, “I’ll try to win back your trust, but I won’t push. I just want you to know that I won’t do anything to add more stress to your life.” Abhira, visibly stressed, replies, “Please, don’t do anything at all. I already have enough to deal with.”
