The episode begins with Rohit and Ruhi noticing Abhira in tears. Ruhi comments that Abhira seems particularly distressed today. Rohit reassures her not to stress about the baby. He suggests that they might be arguing about Karwachauth. Ruhi counters that Armaan is devoted to Abhira and doesn’t care about the fast; their worries must stem from something else. He tells her to calm down, promising to talk to Armaan. Abhira, sitting beneath a curtain, reflects on Armaan’s words as she talks to her baby. She expresses her hope that the baby doesn’t take Armaan’s words to heart, stating that his fate is unfortunate for falling in love with her. She wishes things were normal so that their father could celebrate joyfully and care for their child. Armaan enters and embraces her. They both cry as he questions why they are in this situation. She admits it’s because of her. He insists it isn’t her fault. She expresses her desire for their family and their baby, pleading for his support. He urges her not to do this, and she tries to persuade him.
Krish and the others arrive, misinterpreting the moment as romance. Charu tells Armaan to stand up. Wiping their tears, Armaan jokes about their impeccable timing. Charu mentions that they have prepared his clothes. Aryan shows pictures, and Ruhi notices Abhira’s sadness. Armaan asserts it’s Krish’s choice. Krish hugs Armaan, while Charu asks Abhira to make the cake for her engagement. Armaan agrees, and Abhira hugs Charu. Ruhi and Rohit observe this sadly, and he inquires if everything is okay with Armaan. Armaan responds affirmatively and asks Krish for shoe options. Ruhi and Rohit continue to look concerned.
The next morning, Dadi wards off Charu’s bad omen and praises her. Sanjay thanks Vidya for the arrangements, and she replies that Charu is her daughter as well. Dadi presents Charu with the ancestral ring, bringing smiles all around. Dadi asks Charu if she really likes Neeraj, to which she replies positively, stating he is a nice person and that she will be happy with him. Neeraj arrives with his family, causing Ruhi to comment on his blushing. Everyone smiles, and Mala expresses her hope that Charu always praises Neeraj. Rohit reassures Ruhi that Manish will arrive shortly. Vidya suggests they start the engagement, but Dadi insists they wait for Armaan and Abhira. Krish offers to call them. Mala wonders why they are outside when they should be at home. Krish jokes that they are at home, and Ruhi insists something is wrong, as she had warned.
Armaan calls for Abhira to come. She sits, looking sorrowful. The music “Haule Haule” plays as he helps her get ready, both shedding tears. Sajjan expresses concern about Armaan and Abhira’s absence, while Sanjay reassures him they’ll arrive soon. When Armaan and Abhira finally arrive, he mentions receiving a call about an important case. Manisha expresses disappointment that money and work seem more important to Armaan than his sister. Vidya adds that he isn’t the Armaan they know. Aryan comments that they entered through the kitchen window. Kiara remarks that Abhira appears very sad today. Charu and Neeraj celebrate their engagement, and everyone claps.
Charu and Neeraj take blessings from the elders and pose for photos. Krish compliments Charu, who encourages Armaan and Abhira to take pictures as well. Vidya insists that Rohit and Ruhi join in too, urging Rohit. He then invites Armaan and Abhira for photos, but they look gloomy. Sanjay notices Manish approaching and goes to stop him, but Manish turns to leave. Dadi intervenes, asking why he came alone and where Swarna and Surekha are. Manish explains that he didn’t know about the engagement, so they are at home. Dadi queries Sanjay about not inviting Manish, then apologizes to him. Manish states they only want their children’s happiness. Dadi, frustrated, scolds Sanjay, Vidya, and Kajal for not inviting Manish. She departs, and Mala asks if the cake has been arranged. Charu confirms that Abhira was supposed to make it. Abhira apologizes, saying she forgot. Charu is taken aback. Sanjay reprimands Abhira, but Armaan defends her, stating they don’t understand what she is going through. Neeraj brushes it off, saying it’s not a big deal and offers to order a cake, suggesting that next time, they will have a cake made by Abhira. Charu and Neeraj cut the cake, and Abhira quietly leaves. Armaan searches for her and finds her sitting inside a cupboard, weeping.
