Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Armaan informing Abhira about the man. She replies, “Thank you, this decision wasn’t easy for him. Don’t get upset; the baby will cry if you raise your voice.” The man exits, saying to her that she would have made a perfect mom. She embraces him and says he would have been the best dad. Suddenly, he receives a call. “Okay, Krish, I’m on my way,” he says. He adds, “Dadi is okay now; we need to complete her discharge formalities. Are you hiding something?” She responds, “No,” but he insists, “You don’t look well.” She assures him, “I’m just happy Dadi is better.” She urges him to leave. Manish arrives and reassures Abhira, saying Dadi is fine. Madhav brings Dadi home, and Vidya says she will take care of her medicines so she recovers soon. However, Dadi stops her. Madhav then asks Manisha to give the medicines to Dadi, but Dadi stops her as well.
Sanjay and Kajal arrive, and Sanjay smiles as he sees Dadi taking her medicines from Kajal’s hand. Manisha and Vidya exit. Dadi states that Kajal means everything to her, and they are facing injustice because of Abhira. Abhira mentions that she will start shortlisting preschools. She talks to her baby and imagines holding her. “Come to me,” she pleads, tears streaming down her face. Armaan walks in and questions her, asking why she is talking about the baby and what’s going on. Abhira replies, “Nothing, sorry; it’s just school brochures.” He suggests that Rohit and Ruhi can handle it. She expresses her thoughts, but he interrupts, “You think you can join our shattered dreams?” She insists that everything is possible.
An argument ensues between them. He declares, “I can change the world for you; just move on. I can’t bear to see you upset every day.” He storms out. Sanjay encourages Kajal to eat, but she insists on serving him instead. He appreciates her care for Maasa, to which she replies, “Every daughter looks after her mother.” He counters, “Not every daughter feels neglected like you; she will appreciate you eventually. Maasa has been spoiling her sons-in-law. You should talk to her about Charu’s alliance.” Kajal retorts, “Mom is weak right now.” Sanjay warns, “She has taken advantage of my talents; we might lose everything.”
Abhira embraces Armaan, who says, “I don’t need anything when I have your love. Are you keeping something from me?” She replies that he is overthinking, then turns to sleep. The next morning, he wakes up and searches for her. He finds her vomiting. Armaan quickly calls the doctor, but she stops him, saying, “I might have eaten something bad.” He comments, “You look weak.” She reassures him, “I’m fine; I made a vow. I’ll go to the temple for prasad.” She leaves.
Upon returning from the temple, she sees Vidya and Manisha giving kheer to Ruhi. Ruhi expresses that she will eat it later. Vidya insists, “Alright, you can have more.” Kajal is discussing Charu’s marriage with Dadi. Dadi shares, “I know it’s hard to forget love; are you prepared for this relationship? I’ll meet the guy if Charu is okay with it.” Charu agrees. Dadi offers her guidance.
Abhira enters and presents prasad to Dadi. Suddenly, Ruhi’s phone rings, and she accidentally drops the kheer bowl, panicking. She calls the servant. Vidya and Manisha come in and take her to the kitchen. Abhira observes the kheer and wishes for blessings for her baby as well. Manisha and Vidya share their pregnancy experiences and laugh. Ruhi chimes in, saying, “It’s okay; pregnancy isn’t easy.” Vidya agrees, “Yes, but it’s a memorable experience.” They notice Abhira with the kheer bowl, and Vidya scolds her, snatching the kheer away.
