Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Dadi talking to Manoj, Manisha, and Sanjay about Vidya and Abhira. Armaan overhears them and feels upset. Dadi mentions that Vidya didn’t accept Abhira earlier because of her concern for Armaan but supported Abhira once Daksh’s truth was revealed. Sanjay points out that the issue lies with Abhira. Dadi responds, saying Armaan chose Abhira over Vidya, and their relationship was never that strong. Manish approaches Abhira, who wipes her tears and stands up. He tells her to rest, but she insists she is fine and will go to college tomorrow. He advises her about Armaan, stating that Armaan had signed the divorce papers. She explains he did it out of anger, but Manish disagrees, saying he was clear and not emotional. Abhira says it’s not true and she will wait for the day Armaan realizes his mistake.
Abhir chats with Kiara, thinking she’s Charu. He asks Charu to click her pictures in different dresses. Charu agrees to help him pick the best one, but Kiara quickly makes an excuse. Charu proceeds to click her photos. Abhir looks at Charu’s pictures. Kiara sends her own photo and mentions the pictures were blurry. Kiara says she was only sending her photo to Abhir. Charu leaves. Abhir apologizes and writes that he was confused with so many dresses and that Kiara will look great in whatever she wears. Kiara smiles.
Armaan reflects on Abhira and angrily throws things around. He says, “I love you, Abhira, but I’ve chosen my mom over us now.” Abhira, determined, says she is committed to saving their relationship. Meanwhile, Manish and others discuss a trip. Abhir suggests they take a short break. Abhira wonders if everything will change after the trip or if things will remain the same. She feels she must stay and deal with Armaan’s anger. She receives a letter from the court. Manish asks what it says, and she reveals that her bar license has been revoked for a year. Manish is shocked to hear that she is accused of taking a bribe. Abhira goes to the court and argues with the lawyer, defending herself. The lawyer accuses her of accepting a bribe, with the Poddar firm filing the complaint. She is furious and demands answers. The lawyer reveals that Armaan filed the complaint. Armaan arrives, and she confronts him, asking him to clarify why he’s falsely accusing her. He admits he filed the complaint. She bursts into tears and argues with him, explaining her side. She tells him that he supported Vidya when she was wrong, and she tried to understand his situation, but he lied and destroyed her life. She holds his face and says, “I see now, you have become my pain, when you used to heal my wounds. This is such a betrayal. You broke the promise you made to my mother. How did love turn to hatred so quickly? You weren’t there for me, but I had hope you’d return. Now, I’m alone. Congratulations for ruining me.” The lawyers watch them, whispering comments. Armaan, heartbroken, thinks to himself that he has ended everything between them. Abhira, deeply insulted, walks away. Armaan, on his way home, reflects on Vidya.
He stops his car, overwhelmed by anger and sorrow, and shouts at himself. Meanwhile, Abhira sits alone, crying, and questions how Armaan could break their dreams. Armaan tells himself he needs to focus on Vidya.
