The episode begins with Rohit calling the hospital to speak to the doctor. Ruhi moves her fingers. Rohit smiles and kisses her hand, saying, “The day you get better will be the happiest day of my life, but also the worst day of yours. I’ll tell you a big lie, forgive me if you can.” Manisha and Vidya enter and see Rohit crying. Manisha says, “Armaan was right, Rohit needs some time, we should give him space.” Vidya asks, “Why is this happening to Rohit?” Manisha replies, “I think you’re the cause of their suffering. I’m sorry, you were upset with Abhira for their infertility and you cursed them. You were wrong, and now fate is punishing Ruhi and Rohit for your mistake.” Vidya starts crying. Abhira comforts her baby, saying it’s his puja today. Armaan enters, and she tells him, “I know I’m the world’s worst mother.” He reassures her, saying, “You are the best mother, now the baby will spend time with his Papa.” Armaan takes the baby and hugs him, but the baby keeps crying. Armaan says, “I’ll check the pregnancy book to see how to calm a baby.” Abhira says, “I wonder if I’m even his real mother.” She starts crying.
Vidya walks in and holds Abhira. Abhira says, “The baby is crying so much.” Vidya tells her, “Stop crying, baby can sense a mother’s fear. Do as I say, and the baby will calm down. Take a deep breath; the baby can feel your heartbeat. Now, hug the baby and sing a song. Your calm voice will soothe him.” Abhira sings “O Kanha…” and the baby quiets down. Ruhi moves her fingers.
Vidya hugs Armaan and cries. Ruhi thinks of Akshu. Rohit smiles and says, “Ruhi, today is a good day. It’s our baby’s naming ceremony, I think you’ll get better soon.” Manish and the nurse enter. Rohit becomes concerned when he sees the same nurse. Manish says, “When I hear this bhajan, I remember Akshara. Ruhi is trying to move her fingers, I think she’ll be fine soon. Come for Abhira’s baby naming ceremony, I’ll stay with Ruhi.” The nurse observes them quietly. Rohit urges Manish to come, saying, “Armaan and Abhira will be happy to see you.” The nurse wonders, “Where is Ruhi’s baby?” Rohit thinks, “I must keep the nurse away, or she’ll reveal the truth to the family.”
At the café, a girl named Sira asks for her credit card. The man gives it to her and says, “Sir has ordered this for you.” Krish enters and apologizes to her. Sira argues, and he says, “I came to apologize for what happened yesterday. I’m really sorry.” He leaves. The other guys also apologize to Sira. The man adds, “Krish scolded these guys, so they’ve apologized to you.” Vidya brings Armaan, Abhira, and the baby downstairs. Dadi is pleased and compliments Vidya.
Krish arrives home. Sanjay asks where he was. Krish sits down without answering. Vidya does tilak to Armaan and Abhira. Armaan and Abhira perform the rituals. Vidya asks, “Can we keep another coconut for Rohit and Ruhi? I want happiness to return to their lives.” Armaan signals Rohit to come. He says, “The baby is ours and yours too.” Rohit participates in the rituals and smiles. Ruhi moves slightly, feeling conscious, and falls off the bed. The nurse doesn’t notice. Ruhi tries to get up, but the water jug falls. The nurse turns around and sees her. She helps Ruhi drink some water. Ruhi asks, “Where is my baby?” The nurse says, “I’ll call your family.”
Ruhi insists, “Where is my baby?” and starts crying. The pandit says, “I’ll place this kalash in the temple.” Dadi agrees. Manish gives a gold chain to the baby. Ruhi steps on broken glass and screams in pain. The nurse tells her to sit back down. Ruhi runs downstairs and snatches the baby from Abhira. Rohit watches, crying. Armaan wonders, “Did Ruhi recognize her baby?”
