Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 15th October 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Abhira, Armaan, and everyone dancing to the song “Kamariya.” Abhira approaches Ruhi, but Vidya stops her. She notices Manoj and Manisha dancing happily and thinks Manoj will understand the situation and not be angry. She moves forward. A man approaches with the intent to stab her, but Armaan quickly pulls her aside. Romantic moments between Armaan and Abhira unfold as “Lahu Muh Lag Gaya” plays in the background. Meanwhile, the man receives a call, stating, “Yes, I’m looking for Abhira; I won’t let her go.”
Manoj takes to the stage and interrupts, saying he needs to make an announcement: he is resigning from the Poddar firm to start his own law practice. The crowd is taken aback. Sanjay thinks the family dynamics are beginning to unravel. Dadi steps up to the stage and reprimands Manoj.
She takes the microphone and switches it off. Manoj expresses that he feels disrespected both at home and in the firm. Armaan and Abhira try to persuade Manoj not to leave. Ruhi adds that he might reconsider if he gets his cabin back and apologizes, accusing him of being selfish and arrogant. Abhira insists that Manoj is her Chachasa, and she would do anything for him, begging him to take the cabin back and apologizing sincerely. Armaan insists that Manoj shouldn’t have to apologize since he was unaware of the cabin situation.
Manoj hands his resignation to Abhira. Manisha confronts Abhira, accusing her of taking away Manoj’s only possession. She expresses her disappointment, saying she has loved Abhira like a daughter and wishes she hadn’t. Abhira tears up as Manisha accuses her of betrayal. Dadi shouts at Manisha, chastising her.
Dadi shares her disappointment in Vidya’s judgment, claiming she was wrong to think Vidya was sensible and that her heart was pure. Sanjay warns Rohit to be cautious, observing how Abhira and Armaan are pushing everyone away. Dadi storms off. Abhira pleads to apologize to Manoj, but Dadi screams in frustration. Suddenly, everyone rushes to see Dadi has been stabbed. Abhira spots a man fleeing with the knife. They hurry Dadi to the hospital.
Abhira tells her, “You are strong; you must fight and recover.” Dadi, however, expresses her wish to make a will. She is swiftly taken into the operating theater. Vidya laments her conflict with Maasa, feeling responsible for what has happened. Abhira reassures her that Dadi is stubborn and will pull through for their sake. Sanjay questions who could hate her so much as to stab her. Abhira mentions having seen a man at the venue, who was conversing with Manoj.
Manisha accuses Abhira of implying that Manoj tried to kill their mother. Manoj insists he spoke to numerous people at the event and couldn’t have done such a thing. Abhira clarifies that she isn’t blaming him; she just wants to identify the man. Madhav proposes they check the CCTV footage. Abhira calls Manish, informing him of the attack on Kaveri ji, prompting his immediate worry for Ruhi’s baby. Dadi is treated as Abhira begins to feel nauseous and dizzy. The doctor announces that the bleeding isn’t stopping, instructing them to arrange for blood and a specific injection.
Armaan and Abhira rush off to comply. Madhav urges Manoj to review the CCTV footage and identify the man. Manoj confirms the man was holding a knife. Sanjay remarks that he knows the man, who works at Verma’s law firm. Madhav vows to confront him. As the doctors state they cannot save Dadi, Armaan and Abhira emerge from the room. A reporter breaks the news: “We have just received confirmation that Kaveri Poddar has passed away.” They are left in shock.
