Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 12th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Ruhi accusing Abhira, saying, “You have taken Manish away from me. Now I feel like an orphan.” She bursts into tears. Manish, concerned, says, “You hate Abhira that much?” Ruhi responds, “Yes, just as much as you love her.” He tries to explain, “You think I can’t love both of you? You are both my daughters.” But Ruhi, upset, says, “You came to her event as if you were her family.” Abhira steps in, trying to calm her, “Ruhi, please listen to me.” But Ruhi, devastated, says, “Sorry, I’m not your choice, so just let me go.” She runs off to her car and drives away.
Manish, distressed, calls out for Ruhi to stop, but she doesn’t listen. Abhira watches and says, “She’s telling you that you’re going to lose her because of me, and I won’t let that happen.” Manish reassures her, “You’re not responsible for this.” But Abhira insists, “You gave me so much happiness today, but Ruhi isn’t happy. Mumma wouldn’t want me to hurt anyone.” Manish, holding back his own pain, says, “You can’t deny the bond that fate has given us. You deserve this family’s happiness; it’s your right.” Abhira, struggling with guilt, says, “Thank you, but Ruhi’s happiness is more important right now.” Manish, not giving up, responds, “You focus on your happiness, and I will handle Ruhi. Don’t worry.” Abhira nods and leaves.
Manish, heartbroken, mutters, “Sorry, Akshu, I didn’t know the truth that day, but now I will fulfill my responsibility.” He returns home, only to find Suwarna in a rage. She breaks a framed picture of Manish and Ruhi. She yells at him, “Abhira is your what? You made Ruhi’s worst fear come true today. Ruhi is your daughter, she has already lost her parents, and today you left her alone.” Tears stream down her face as she continues, “I can’t even stay in the same room with you anymore.” She storms off, followed by Surekha.
Manish, devastated, picks up the broken frame and cries, “Abhira is my responsibility too. I won’t let her suffer for the past, and I won’t let anyone take away the rights of either Ruhi or Abhira.” *Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai* plays in the background.
Meanwhile, Abhira’s dupatta flies off and lands on Armaan. He gently places it back on her, saying, “I’m sorry, don’t be upset.” He tries to lighten the mood and stops her from walking away. They share a romantic moment, dancing together to *Aise Na Dekho Janam*.
Abhira says, “Our wedding seems to be creating issues for everyone—Ruhi, Sanjay, Dadi. But I know you love Dadi, and I will make sure she dances at our sangeet.” Armaan, in disbelief, says, “I don’t think that’s possible.” Abhira, determined, replies, “You’ll see. I’ll make it happen.” From a distance, Dadi watches them and mutters, “We’ll see how she gets me to dance.”
Later, the family watches as it begins to rain heavily. Dadi remarks, “I don’t know if the sangeet can even happen now.” Krish adds, “We didn’t expect the rain to come like this.” Armaan tries to stay optimistic, “The rain will stop soon, we should just head to the venue now.”
However, their car breaks down. Armaan steps out to check the issue, but the other cars also stop. Manoj, Vidya, and Madhav ask, “What’s going on?” Abhira, confused, responds, “I’m not sure.” Madhav suggests, “Let’s leave the car and head to the venue. We need to get there.” Just then, Manish arrives and says, “No one’s going anywhere. The lake has overflowed because of the rain.” Dadi, disheartened, says, “I knew something would go wrong. Let’s get back in the car and head home. The sangeet is canceled.”
