Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 11th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sanjay questioning Manish, “Where are you lost? What’s your relation with Abhira?” Manish chooses to stay silent for a moment but then scolds Sanjay for disrespecting Abhira. “I have a bond of heart with her,” he says, “I consider her my granddaughter.” Sanjay retorts, “Congrats, you got the Poddar firm and property along with the love, and today you also got a family through charity.” Furious, Manish grabs Sanjay by the collar, shouting, “You may have received rights through charity, but Abhira earned hers because she deserves it!” Dadi intervenes, telling Manish to let go of Sanjay. Armaan chimes in, “Sanjay is always up to something like this.” Dadi agrees, adding, “He’s right, after all, this girl is an orphan.” This sparks an argument between Dadi and Manish, with Manish urging Dadi to show some affection toward Abhira. Dadi, suspicious, says, “You seem to have a lot of love for her; it makes me think you’re hiding something.” Manish, dismissing her insinuation, says, “I’m here to fulfill my duty. Abhira wanted me to attend this wedding from her side, and I’m here to keep my word.”
Abhira and Armaan sit for the *rasam* (ritual), and Manish gives Abhira a *shagun* (gift). The song *Yeh Rishta…* plays softly in the background. Ruhi notices an envelope in her hand while Manish suddenly starts coughing. Abhira rushes to get water for him, and Ruhi watches closely. Before Ruhi can act, Manisha stops her, reminding her, “Abhira is like your sister; she’s going to marry into the same family.” Ignoring this, Ruhi burns the envelope. Manisha, noticing the action, says, “You have poison in you.” Ruhi snaps back, “Yes, and Abhira has Amrit (divine nectar) in her.” Manisha taunts her, “So, you were the one who stole Armaan’s ring. I’ll go tell Dadi your whole truth now.” Ruhi, unbothered, responds, “No, accusations don’t become truths until they’re proven, so don’t threaten me.” Manisha, backing down slightly, says, “Fine, I won’t take Abhira’s side, but Manish will. He’ll defend her, and if you say anything, he’ll shut you down. Then you can sit and cry.”
Later, Manish takes Abhira to watch a puppet show and uses it as a way to explain things to her. “I don’t care what people say,” he tells her, “Who are they to question me? If I like someone, I make them smile. To me, you feel like my daughter. How do you feel?” Abhira responds with a smile, “I feel like we’re from the same family, which is why I’ve been calling you Parnanu since the first day.” Manish beams at her words.
Meanwhile, Armaan is lost in thought, recalling Sanjay and Dadi’s harsh words. Rohit approaches with a coke can, and Armaan thanks him. Rohit remarks, “The house has turned into a drama zone, and here you are, standing alone.” Armaan reflects, “The world doesn’t allow us to be weak or emotional.” Rohit offers his support, “I’ll give you that permission.” Armaan confesses, “Both Abhira and the family are important to me. How am I supposed to balance them?” They continue talking, and Rohit reassures him, “I know you’ll win, and Abhira is strong-willed.” Armaan smiles, saying, “I feel like a winner already. You’ve given me the strength I needed. Even if we don’t talk, just stay with me. It makes me feel better.” Rohit nods in agreement.
Just then, Ruhi claps sarcastically and starts mocking Abhira. “You’re so talented, knowing exactly how to make people dance to your tune,” she taunts. Abhira and Manish exchange looks, taken aback by Ruhi’s behavior.
