Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 10th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Madhav and Vidya in the midst of an argument. Dadi overhears their exchange, silently holding back her anger. Vidya raises her voice at Madhav, asserting, “I’m standing by my son and bahu today.” Everyone watches on as Vidya insults Abhira. Meanwhile, Dadi starts filling a jar with water, keeping her frustration in check. Armaan steps in to defend Akshara, telling Vidya not to say anything wrong about her. Vidya snaps, asking how he could go against the family for someone from outside. Armaan replies, “I’m supporting what’s right. Ruhi has a misunderstanding, we can calmly talk it out.” Vidya declares, “I’m leaving this house today.” Dadi, barely holding back, thinks to herself, “My patience is at its limit; I’ll remind Vidya of her boundaries.” Rohit gets his bags, and Armaan pleads with him not to leave.
Vidya then commands Armaan and Abhira to leave the house, adding, “It seems like everyone just wants to get rid of us.” Manoj tries to reason with her, urging her to stay, and Manisha also begs her not to go. Vidya retorts, “We were your family once, but not anymore.” At this moment, Dadi intervenes, grabbing Vidya’s hand. “How dare you try to break my family? Do what you want after I’m gone, but as long as I’m here, this family will not fall apart.” Vidya defiantly says, “This is my family, and I will make decisions for them, not you.”
Dadi responds sharply, “Family may be yours, but this is *my* house. Take your family and leave my home.” She reminds Vidya, “I’ve loved you like a mother, but don’t forget, I’m still your mother-in-law.” She firmly asks Vidya and Rohit to leave. Abhira steps in, offering, “If I’m the problem, I will leave.” Armaan adds, “We’ll move out.” Abhira tries to convince him to stay with his family, but he insists, “You’re my family too, and this was inevitable. Maa has wanted us out for a while now.” Dadi steps in again, suggesting, “Stay in the outhouse. I won’t allow you to go far.” Abhira declines, explaining that Ruhi would get upset seeing her, and it’s important to avoid stressing her during her pregnancy. Dadi advises, “Everyone has anger, but one must learn to control it.” She orders Krish to take their bags to the outhouse and then turns to Vidya, scolding her.
Dadi says, “What you wanted has come to pass. Are you satisfied now?” Swarna and Surekha, meanwhile, hug Akshu’s picture and weep. Manish enters, and Swarna accuses him, “You should have told us that Akshu passed away. What right did you have to keep that from us?” She adds, “We all have to bear the consequences of your mistake.” Manish, looking remorseful, says, “I was afraid of how you would react.” Surekha chimes in, “Abhira is part of our family too. Didn’t we have the right to know?” Manish admits, “I’ve wronged all of you and Abhira as well.” As Armaan and Abhira leave the house, Abhira starts walking ahead. Armaan tries to stop her, but she says, “I need to find answers on my own.” She leaves.
Manish, panicked, rushes to meet Abhira. Swarna reminds him, “Ruhi is in shock; we need to focus on saving our daughter. Think carefully before making any decisions.” But Manish insists, “Abhira needs me.” Surekha warns, “Ruhi might get even more stressed.” Manish, however, is resolute, saying, “I need to go to Abhira.” Abhira arrives, and they welcome her with tears of joy. Meanwhile, Ruhi searches for her medicine and calls the doctor. Spotting Abhira’s picture, she angrily throws it. Manish gives Akshu’s guitar to Abhira, while Swarna brings her kachoris, saying, “Akshu loved these so much.” Surekha covers Abhira with a quilt, noting, “This belonged to our Akshu.” Abhira, emotional, asks, “Why didn’t she stay here? Why did she leave this house?” Manish is left without words.
