Yeh Hai Chahatein 7th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Nitya coming home. Karun excitedly offers her a sandwich, saying, “New Mom made it so well.” However, Nitya refuses and tells Meera not to call her “Mom.” Karun, confused, asks why she’s upset. Arjun jumps in, explaining that Nitya is upset because he didn’t do what she had asked. Meera, noticing the tension, asks what happened. Arjun replies that Nitya found out the truth, which has caused her distress. Meera looks upset as well. Meanwhile, Raunaq Sir questions Kashvi about why Arjun left his phone at home, wondering if everything is alright. He asks Devansh to give the phone to Arjun, but Kashvi volunteers to take it herself.
Kashvi heads to Arjun’s house and finds Nitya mixing something in the kheer. She calls out to Nitya and explains that she’s here to return Arjun’s phone. Kashvi asks if Arjun and Karun are home. Nitya confirms that Arjun is, but if Karun were there, she wouldn’t have let Kashvi in. Soon, Arjun and Meera enter the scene, and Kashvi hands over the phone to Arjun. Nitya proudly shares that Karun won first prize for his project and offers kheer to everyone. She invites Kashvi to sit and join them. Kashvi observes that Nitya was adding dry fruits to Meera’s kheer. However, when Meera tastes the kheer, she feels sharp abdominal pain. Kashvi quickly suggests they take her to the hospital.
At the hospital, the doctor asks Arjun to wait outside while she examines Meera. After the examination, the doctor instructs the nurse to prepare an injection. Worried, Kashvi asks Arjun how Meera is doing. Arjun replies that the doctor is still checking her. Meanwhile, Nitya secretly hopes that Meera will lose the baby, feeling pleased at the thought. But the doctor soon comes out and informs them that they almost lost the baby, but he’s now stable. She warns Arjun not to give Meera anything harmful, as what she consumed could have caused a miscarriage. Arjun, shocked, says they’ve been careful with her, and the doctor emphasizes they need to be more vigilant.
Afterward, Kashvi offers to go get the medicine and tells Arjun to stay with Meera. Nitya, frustrated, mutters to herself, “I had poisoned the kheer, how did the baby survive? I’ll do whatever it takes to harm Meera’s baby.” Kashvi overhears and silently vows not to let anything happen to Meera or her child. Inside, Meera wakes up and anxiously asks Arjun if the baby is okay. Arjun reassures her, explaining that she mistakenly ate something harmful. Nitya pretends to be concerned and advises Meera to take better care of herself. Arjun then questions Meera about what she ate last. Meera recalls eating the kheer that Nitya had given her. Suspicious, Arjun directly asks Nitya if she accidentally added something harmful to the kheer. Nitya, offended, retorts, “Are you accusing me of being a murderer?” Arjun responds that since Nitya was previously in jail for murder, it’s reasonable to suspect her, especially after learning that Meera is carrying Mohan’s child.
Nitya vehemently denies the accusation, insisting she’s not selfish enough to harm an unborn baby. She adds that Kashvi, who is also pregnant, didn’t experience any issues after eating the kheer. Kashvi, listening from the doorway, becomes angry but stays silent. Arjun tries to soothe Meera by reminding her that Kashvi is bringing the medicine. Meanwhile, Nitya is already plotting her next move, determined to ensure that Meera doesn’t escape harm. Kashvi, on her way to get the medicine, reflects that Nitya won’t rest until she’s hurt the baby. She is determined to protect Meera and her child at all costs.
Elsewhere, Swati tells Pradyuman that she has safely stored the baby shower gifts. Pradyuman expresses his frustration, recalling that Mahima and Arjun tried to expose them, but he admits they did one thing right by organizing the baby shower. He excitedly remarks that Kashvi is about to bring them the biggest happiness of their lives. Neelam, growing anxious, asks where Kashvi is, fearing that she might expose their schemes. Swati agrees, acknowledging Kashvi’s courage. Pradyuman tries to call Kashvi, but she doesn’t answer, which worries him further. He ominously says that Kashvi knows the consequences if she does anything.
Back at the hospital, Meera tells Arjun that she needs to use the restroom and steps out for a moment. Kashvi arrives and reminds Arjun to give Meera her medicine on time. Grateful, Arjun thanks Kashvi for her timely intervention, saying that it’s because of her that they took Meera to the hospital in time. Kashvi wishes she could tell Arjun everything she knows, but she holds back. As she turns to leave, she feels a baby kick. Concerned, Arjun asks if she’s okay and offers to call a doctor. Smiling, Kashvi places Arjun’s hand on her stomach, and he shares her joy. Meanwhile, Meera watches from afar, plotting to disrupt their moment. She calls Arjun, reminding him to give Meera her medicine.
Kashvi pulls out her phone and answers a call from Pradyuman, telling him she was in a meeting. She refrains from telling him the full story, knowing he might harm Karun. The next day, Arjun tells Meera to rest, but Meera insists she can do some work. Nitya intervenes, advising Meera to rest and offering to take Karun to school. Arjun, also concerned, agrees, and Meera reluctantly rests. After Arjun, Jagdish, and Karun leave, Nitya tells Meera that she’s called a plumber to fix the bathroom tap. However, in her mind, Nitya is already plotting, thinking about hiring a contract killer to eliminate Meera.
