Yeh Hai Chahatein 2nd September 2024 Written Update
The Episode starts with Kashvi feeling uneasy when Neelam hands over a doll to her. She’s about to question Neelam, but Mahima interrupts, explaining the twist in the baby doll game: only the guys should participate while the girls can assist their husbands. Meera calls Arjun over, urging him to hurry as the game is about to start. Neelam brings a water tub, and Arjun catches a glimpse of her reflection in the water. He suddenly realizes that she is Pradyuman’s supposedly deceased wife and wonders how she is still alive. Arjun realizes that Pradyuman has deceived him and that Neelam was never actually dead. Determined to uncover the truth, Arjun decides to follow Neelam. Sensing his intent, Neelam grows nervous and quickly leaves. Arjun is about to follow her when Meera questions where he’s going. Arjun makes an excuse about having some work and rushes after Neelam. However, by the time he gets outside, Neelam has already driven away, leaving Arjun frustrated and even more determined to keep an eye on Pradyuman.
Later, Pradyuman notices that Neelam left the party abruptly and decides to question her. Just then, Kashvi approaches him, and he nearly stumbles, but she catches him, leading to an awkward moment where they both hold onto each other. Swati, seeing this, becomes irritated and sarcastically asks if she should serve food. Pradyuman, feeling uncomfortable, excuses himself, claiming he needs to go to the office. As he leaves, Swati angrily throws a mop on the floor. Kashvi, confused, asks why she did that, but Swati, clearly upset, just says she has work in the kitchen and walks away.
Outside, Arjun follows Pradyuman as he enters a complex. Arjun waits but doesn’t see him come out, growing suspicious. Just then, Raunaq Sir calls, forcing Arjun to leave, but he vows to expose Pradyuman soon. Unbeknownst to Arjun, Pradyuman has been watching him and only leaves the complex after seeing Arjun go. Pradyuman drives to another location and meets with Swati, who had urgently summoned him. Teasingly, he calls her “Sasumaa” and asks why she called him and where Neelam is. Swati, clearly upset, tells him that Neelam is resting inside but that she wanted to clear a few things. She accuses Pradyuman of being too close to Kashvi, questioning his intentions. Pradyuman, taken aback, denies any wrongdoing, explaining that he’s only involved with Kashvi because of the baby. He insists that his love for Neelam is unwavering and heads inside to check on her.
However, when he enters the room, Neelam is nowhere to be found. Panicking, he asks Swati where Neelam is. Swati checks the room and finds Neelam unconscious on the floor, her hand bleeding. Horrified, Pradyuman rushes to her side, asking what happened. They quickly take Neelam to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Kashvi, Dadi, and Romila visit a jewelry store to buy a necklace for Kashvi. Coincidentally, Nitya and Meera are also at the store, looking at necklaces. Romila and Nitya both like the same necklace, leading to a heated argument over who saw it first. The salesman, caught in the middle, tries to appease both parties, but tensions rise. Romila insists that they chose the necklace first, while Nitya demands that it be sold to her. Kashvi and Meera, uncomfortable with the situation, both decide they don’t want the necklace, each choosing something else for the other instead. Romila watches the exchange and later asks Kashvi why she’s being so kind to her “sautan.” Kashvi calmly explains that she doesn’t hate Meera and acknowledges that Meera has been a loving mother to Karun, even helping to change him for the better. She adds that perhaps destiny never intended for her and Arjun to be together, so there’s no point in blaming Meera.
At the hospital, Pradyuman angrily confronts Swati, asking why she told Neelam about Kashvi. He insists on taking Neelam to another hospital, but Swati reminds him that, according to their earlier reports, Neelam is considered dead. Undeterred, Pradyuman takes her to a different hospital, pleading with the doctor to treat her, explaining that she’s cut her veins. The doctor, wary of the situation, warns that it’s a police case but agrees to help after Pradyuman bribes him. However, the doctor tells Pradyuman they don’t have the required blood type and that he’ll need to arrange it from outside. Pradyuman promises to find the blood and asks Swati to stay with Neelam while he leaves.
As this unfolds, Kashvi is nearby but doesn’t see Pradyuman, only spotting Swati. Concerned, she follows Swati into the hospital, where she sees her taking Neelam inside. A nurse reassures Swati that her daughter will be fine. Kashvi, confused by what she’s seeing, confronts Swati, demanding to know why she’s there and what her relationship is with the patient.
