Yeh Hai Chahatein 1st September 2024 Written Update
The Episode starts with Arjun confiding in Meera, telling her that Pradyuman has discovered the truth about their marriage. However, Arjun quickly realizes that he cannot reveal the whole truth to Meera, as she is unaware of all the details. Meera, curious, presses him for more information, asking what exactly Pradyuman has discovered. Arjun deflects, saying that Pradyuman has found out about Mohan’s death, and assures Meera that he will ensure the secret remains hidden. Internally, Arjun decides to consult Vikram, who knows the full story.
Meanwhile, Pradyuman and Neelam review the CCTV footage, noticing that Arjun sent Mahima to recheck something. Pradyuman comments that Arjun is likely wondering where he hid the dead body and adds that Arjun doesn’t know that Neelam is still alive and by his side. Neelam reveals that they relocated to a secret place before Arjun sent Mahima there.
Arjun confronts Vikram, asking if he has revealed anything about Mohan’s death to anyone. Vikram denies it at first but then recalls a conversation he had with a man named Pradyuman, who saved his life the previous week. Vikram admits that he might have mentioned something to Pradyuman but can’t remember exactly what. Arjun realizes that Pradyuman manipulated Vikram to gather information and now has leverage over him.
Later, Mahima meets Arjun in his car. Arjun asks for her help in gaining entry to Pradyuman’s house. Mahima warns him that the house is like a labyrinth and asks how he plans to navigate it. Arjun suggests throwing a baby shower for Kashvi as a cover to get inside, and Mahima agrees to the plan.
Pradyuman later approaches Mahinder, suggesting they go out for dinner, but Mahima interrupts, informing them that she has already arranged a baby shower for Kashvi. Kashvi, feeling a bit overwhelmed, remarks that Mahima should have consulted her before planning the event. Mahima explains that she wanted to do something special for her younger sister, and Kashvi eventually agrees. Mahinder offers to handle the preparations, but Mahima proudly states that she has already taken care of everything, including sending out the invitations.
As the baby shower begins, Dadi arrives and warmly greets Kashvi. Romila, surprised by Mahima’s gesture, comments that she never expected Mahima to organize such an event for Kashvi. Mahima advises her to focus on enjoying the party rather than causing any trouble.
During the celebration, Kashvi notices Arjun and Meera among the guests, along with other colleagues. Pradyuman, visibly irritated, asks who invited Arjun. Mahima calmly responds that she invited all of Kashvi’s colleagues and asks Pradyuman not to spoil the event. She then leads Kashvi to the center of the room, where she plans to adorn her with floral jewelry, as is tradition. Mahima suggests that Kashvi’s husband should help with the decoration, and Kashvi, still unsure, asks Pradyuman to join her.
Just as Pradyuman is about to step forward, Arjun intervenes, stopping him. Arjun approaches Kashvi and gently places the necklace on her, complimenting her beauty and telling her that the color suits her perfectly. He gazes into her eyes, telling her that she belongs to him and will always be his. Pradyuman seethes with anger, while Romila and Keval question Arjun’s audacity. Meera tries to pull Arjun back, warning him that he is making a fool of both himself and her. But Arjun, unbothered, declares that he is the father of Kashvi’s baby, and that’s why she isn’t stopping him.
Just as Kashvi gets up and slaps Arjun across the face, it is revealed that this entire scene was merely Arjun’s imagination.
