Yeh Hai Chahatein 13th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Meera having a haunting vision where she believes she has killed Karun and avenged herself. She snaps out of the illusion, realizing it was just a dream. As she looks around, she sees Karun sitting on a chair, unharmed. Meera quickly excuses herself, saying she will serve food, and Arjun acknowledges her.
Meanwhile, Pradyuman informs Kashvi that he has arranged a farewell party for them. Kashvi, puzzled, asks why it’s necessary. Pradyuman explains that they need to maintain appearances to avoid suspicion about their sudden move to Delhi, so a farewell party will make everything seem normal. He assures her that it’s all part of their plan and insists she rest before the event.
Later, Pradyuman visits Arjun’s house to invite him to the party. Arjun expresses concern for Kashvi, and Pradyuman assures him she’s fine. He extends the party invitation, saying it would lift Kashvi’s spirits. Karun gets excited about attending, and Arjun agrees to go. Meera, however, has dark thoughts and believes this will be the last day for Arjun and Karun.
The next day, Pradyuman gets ready for the party, and Neelam offers to adjust his collar. Neelam expresses her desire to attend the party, but Pradyuman refuses, reminding her that she was spotted at Kashvi’s baby shower, which nearly ruined his plans. He reveals to her that today’s plan is to kill Arjun and Karun. As Swati enters, Pradyuman orders her to ensure Neelam stays in her room. Swati taunts Neelam, reminding her that they plan to throw Kashvi out after taking her baby.
At the party, Pradyuman compliments Kashvi, who coldly reminds him that there’s no need for pretense when no one is watching. Despite her indifferent attitude, Pradyuman continues his act. As guests arrive, Arjun, Meera, and Karun also attend. Karun runs to Kashvi, addressing her as “Mamma,” and they share a moment as she takes him to get some juice.
Pradyuman discreetly messages Meera, and they meet to discuss their plan. He reveals that they will create an “accident” by making the chandelier fall on Arjun and Karun. A hired man, disguised as a waiter, is tasked with cutting the chandelier’s rope at the right moment. Pradyuman pays him, and the plan is set in motion.
As the party continues, Pradyuman dances with Kashvi while Arjun dances with Meera. Neelam, who defied Pradyuman’s orders to stay in the room, watches them from a distance. Pradyuman notices her but pretends not to care. Eventually, he excuses himself, claiming he has to take a call, leaving Kashvi on the dance floor. Arjun takes the opportunity to pull Kashvi into a dance, while Meera steps away. Arjun expresses how happy he is to dance with her, but Kashvi, uncomfortable, tells him to focus on his marriage with Meera. She suggests that Meera may have developed feelings for him, as it’s natural for a couple living together. Arjun, however, admits that although he’s with Meera, his heart still belongs to Kashvi.
Meanwhile, Pradyuman confronts Neelam, who is upset that he was dancing so closely with Kashvi. He assures her that it’s all part of the act, and once they move to Delhi, there will be no need for pretense. He locks Neelam in a room to prevent her from interfering with his plan.
Back at the party, Pradyuman announces a game for the fathers and their children, where they have to catch balls to win. Arjun and Karun participate, and Pradyuman signals the man to cut the chandelier’s rope as they move under it. Meera and Pradyuman watch, anticipating the fatal moment. Just as the rope is about to be severed, Karun runs to Kashvi, asking her to play with him. Kashvi throws a ball, and Karun catches it, moving them both out of danger. Pradyuman, realizing that Kashvi could get hurt, rushes to her and pulls her away under the guise of introducing her to a guest.
The game concludes, and Arjun and Karun are declared the winners. They are given a prize, and the man cutting the chandelier’s rope struggles with the task, frustrating Pradyuman. Meera and Pradyuman exchange uneasy glances as the plan falters.
