Vasudha 16th September 2024 Written Episode Update

Devansh returns to Udaipur after winning a prestigious award. Reporters surround him, offering their congratulations, but Devansh humbly credits his mother, Chandrika, for his success, calling her his true inspiration. As he gets into his car, he hands the award to his driver and eagerly asks for his “gift.” The driver smiles and gives him chocolate. Devansh, biting into it, remarks that no chocolate compares to this one. The driver mentions how thrilled Devansh’s family is about his return, and Devansh excitedly says he can’t wait to present the award to his mother.

Suddenly, the car is stopped by a group of people. Devansh steps out and asks the Minister why they’ve been halted. Without answering directly, the Minister’s men start loading gifts into Devansh’s car. Perplexed, Devansh questions the Minister, who explains that he has been negotiating a tender with Chandrika for six months. Devansh, unfazed, suggests that the Minister should know by now whether he deserves the tender or not. He then demands that the Minister apologize to his driver for the unnecessary delay. The Minister apologizes and then inquires about the tender. Devansh firmly states that the decision rests with Chandrika, not him, and orders his driver to return the gifts. The Minister sarcastically asks if Devansh would die if Chandrika ordered him to. With a calm smile, Devansh replies that he would, before driving away. As they leave, the Minister makes a call, initiating “Plan B.”

Meanwhile, an income tax officer named Amit arrives at Chandrika’s mansion with his team to conduct a raid. Amit instructs one of his team members to alert the media about the raid. Devansh’s father, Prabhat, greets Amit calmly, telling him he is free to search the entire house, though he won’t find anything. Amit orders his team to begin the search.

As this is happening, Chandrika is performing aarti in the temple inside the mansion. The maid, Savitri, approaches her with news of the raid. Despite the extensive search, Amit’s team finds nothing incriminating. Declaring the raid over, Amit prepares to leave. However, Chandrika approaches, performs aarti for Prabhat, and takes his blessings before turning to Amit. She insists he sit and address the insult to her integrity before leaving. At her command, Savitri turns on the TV, and Amit is stunned by what he sees on the news. Chandrika explains that the mansion represents her pride. Shocked, Amit leaves with his team.

Prabhat tells Chandrika that the Minister is likely behind the raid. Chandrika, with a steely resolve, assures him that the Minister will face consequences and be ousted from the party. She adds that she will never forgive the Minister for stopping Devansh’s car. Shifting the conversation, Prabhat mentions their upcoming 25th wedding anniversary party and asks Chandrika to finalize the details. She delegates the responsibility to him, confident that he knows her preferences. They then discuss Devansh’s marriage, and Chandrika emphasizes that finding the right bride for him is her top priority. She lists the qualities she expects in Devansh’s future wife, declaring that Devansh’s bride will become the pride of their home.

At the same time, Vasudha arrives in Udaipur with her brother and her dog.
