Udne Ki Aasha 8th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sayali signing as a witness. Akash says they’ll come home in a friend’s car, and Sayali agrees, telling him to explain things to Sachin. She leaves, walking away in tears, thinking about Sachin’s words. Riya, feeling anxious, tells Akash that they can’t go home yet, despite their promise to Sayali. Akash insists that they should go home, but Riya argues that her parents will be furious if they find out, suggesting they wait a couple of days for things to calm down.
Sayali walks down the road, crying. Meanwhile, Raghav returns home and asks about Riya’s whereabouts. Joy and Mamta are surprised, asking why he’s asking since they went to the temple together. Raghav explains that Riya sent him to buy a gift, but when he came back, she had disappeared, and now her phone is switched off. Joy suggests that she might have gone for some dubbing work, but Raghav, frustrated, says he had already told her not to take up that work without informing him, and he’s upset by her attitude. Joy tries to calm him down, offering to explain things to Riya when she returns. Raghav, still irritated, tells Joy to have Riya call him when she comes back and leaves. Joy, now aware of the situation, thinks it’s time to teach Paresh a lesson.
At home, Renu is waiting for Sayali. Roshni and Tejas arrive, and Renu invites them for food. Paresh, noticing Tejas staying behind, asks if he’s not going to work. Tejas responds that his job doesn’t have fixed hours as he deals with clients. Paresh retorts sarcastically, saying he sounds like he’s going to sit in a garden. Renu brushes it off, asking Tejas to join them.
Joy and Mamta enter, and Joy angrily confronts Paresh. Confused, Paresh asks what the issue is now. Joy demands to know where he’s hidden his daughter, but Paresh, clueless, denies any involvement. Mamta accuses Paresh’s son of causing the trouble, insisting he should bring their daughter back or face serious consequences. Renu, alarmed, asks if Sachin has done something wrong again, to which Tejas replies, suggesting that maybe Sachin has kidnapped Riya. Paresh corrects them, stating that they’re talking about Akash, not Sachin. Renu, shocked, asks what Akash has done, and Mamta accuses him of kidnapping her daughter.
Renu, outraged, tells Mamta not to make baseless accusations against her son. Paresh also defends Akash, saying that Riya is just his good friend and dismissing the idea of Akash fabricating any stories. Joy, still convinced, accuses Paresh’s son of taking Riya somewhere, demanding Paresh call Akash. Paresh tries to reach Akash, but Riya, sensing danger, switches off his phone, telling him to relax.
Meanwhile, Sayali and Sachin try to call each other. Paresh tells Joy that Akash’s phone is off, prompting Mamta to claim he’s acting suspiciously. She accuses Paresh of sending Akash and Riya away. Roshni, stepping in, asks Mamta to speak to Paresh with respect. Mamta, however, continues insulting Paresh. Renu, frustrated, defends her family, telling Mamta and Joy to stop their baseless accusations. Tejas, unsure, asks Paresh if Akash is really involved. Paresh insists he’s not, but Joy, angered, grabs Paresh by the collar, accusing him of being dishonest.
At that moment, the police arrive to arrest Paresh. Shocked, Paresh tells them they can’t arrest him without proof. The inspector says he’s required to come in for questioning. Roshni tries to defend Paresh, reminding them he’s a senior citizen, but the inspector is firm. Paresh, feeling wronged, claims Joy is only taking revenge on him by filing false complaints. The inspector, trying to defuse the situation, says Paresh can just provide a written statement. Paresh reluctantly agrees to go to the police station and assures the inspector he’ll bring his son in. As he prepares to leave, Joy accuses him of trying to escape. The inspector tells Paresh to ride with them in the jeep, calming his fears. Roshni insists that she and Tejas will accompany Paresh to the station.
Meanwhile, Renu grows increasingly worried as Paresh is taken away. Sayali arrives, shocked to see the police taking Paresh. A bystander tells her that Paresh’s son is accused of kidnapping a girl for marriage. Sayali, horrified, insists that’s not true and quickly leaves in an auto rickshaw, dialing Sachin’s number as she rushes to find out what’s going on. Sachin is already on his way.
