Udne Ki Aasha 7th January 2025 Written Update
The episode starts with Tejas recalling his visit to the restaurant to apply for a job. The manager explains the duties to him. Tejas gets worried when he hears about the 12-hour shift. The manager asks if he wants the job or not. Tejas agrees to take the waiter’s job and inquires about the salary. The manager says they’ll discuss the pay after 4 days if they like his work. He adds that Tejas looks educated, but they don’t hire educated people. The manager asks about his qualifications. Tejas says he has passed the 10th grade. The manager tells him to join the job today itself. The flashback ends. Sachin and Sayali ask Tejas about the job. Roshni questions why they’re asking him. Sayali gets into an argument with Roshni. Renu scolds Sayali for talking like that. Tejas decides to be careful around Sachin. The argument continues. Renu sends Sayali and Sachin away. Tejas doesn’t reveal much about the job. He says it’s a technical job where he has to deal with customers. Roshni asks if it’s a customer relationship role. Tejas says yes, but he looks sad. He asks Renu to take the sweets and leaves.
Roshni hugs Tejas, expressing how happy she is for him. She asks which company he joined and his position. Tejas says it’s not a big company, but he took the job for her sake. Roshni thanks him. He assures her he is not deceiving her and asks her to trust him. She says she trusts him completely. Tejas tells her not to ask about the job, mentioning that it’s not the best job, but he’s doing it for her. She thanks him again and hugs him. Sayali is at her store talking to a lady customer. The lady inquires about Sayali’s mangalsutra. Sayali recalls Renu’s words. Paresh observes them from a distance.
The lady asks if Renu took her jewellery. Sayali tries to cover up, saying Renu is caring and treated her like a daughter. The lady questions why Sayali didn’t wear her bangles and where the mangalsutra went. Sayali explains that she gave the mangalsutra for repair and didn’t wear the bangles because she was at the store. The lady advises her to be careful and leaves. Renu walks in and tells Sayali to prepare breakfast. The lady notices Renu scolding Sayali.
Sayali asks Paresh if he’d like tea. Paresh declines, telling her to finish her work first. He leaves. The lady returns and says, “Sayali, you mentioned Renu treating you poorly.” Paresh overhears them. Sayali defends Renu. The lady leaves. Paresh confronts Renu about how she scolded Sayali. Renu responds that someone needs to handle the household chores. Paresh asks why, pointing out that the other two daughters-in-law can do their share. He says Renu insults Sayali, who keeps Renu’s dignity intact. Renu argues back.
Paresh expresses his displeasure and tells Renu to return the jewellery to Sayali. Renu denies taking it, claiming Sayali gave it to her willingly, and accuses Sayali of making a drama to tarnish her image. Paresh insists she stop speaking ill of Sayali. Renu raises her voice, saying Sayali is insulting her by setting up a stall under her name, while Roshni has a fancy parlour and Riya works in TV serials. Paresh demands that Renu return the jewellery to Sayali. Sayali says she’ll wear only the jewellery her husband buys for her. Paresh mentions that he’s seen what happened outside and asks what she would say if anyone else questioned it. Sayali replies that she doesn’t care about what others think. Sachin overhears their conversation. Sayali adds that just because she comes from a poor background doesn’t mean only the rich have a right to self-respect. Renu accuses her of taunting her. Sachin remarks that Sayali is directly addressing her. Paresh insists that Sayali wear her mangalsutra. Sayali firmly says no, explaining that Sachin promised to buy her one, and it’s about his pride. Renu mocks Sachin and belittles him.
