Udne Ki Aasha 5th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sachin and Sayali arriving home in an auto rickshaw. Paresh approaches them. Sachin quickly asks Sayali not to mention anything about the car to Paresh. As Paresh joins them, Sachin starts chatting with him. Paresh inquires why they came by auto. Sachin explains that Sayali’s house is far. Paresh then asks about the car. Sachin tries to avoid the question, saying it’s in its usual place and insists he’ll explain later. Renu interrupts, noticing that they’ve returned from celebrating Navratri, and immediately checks the gifts Shubha gave them. Noticing the absence of any ring or chain, Renu makes a snide remark. Sachin, as usual, jokes. However, Renu goes on to insult Sayali’s family. Sayali stands up for her family, stating her mother is well aware of customs, but Renu continues to taunt her.
Sachin then turns his attention to Tejas and questions him about the gift from his in-laws. Renu and Roshni begin to worry. Sachin points out that he didn’t see any gold on Tejas and mocks the fact that Roshni’s father is wealthy but Tejas didn’t receive any gifts. Renu tries to defend, explaining that Tejas hadn’t visited his in-laws yet, unlike Sachin, who did. But Sachin continues, explaining that Shubha had actually given him a gold ring, which he had asked her to keep for Juhi, showing that he’s not greedy like Tejas. He emphasizes that the customs were properly followed. Sayali listens quietly. Paresh, however, persists in asking Sachin about the car.
Sachin fabricates a story, claiming that the moneylender’s daughter had taken the car for a week. Renu, shocked, asks if that means he will be sitting idle for a week. Roshni then steps in, saying that Sayali had been trying to say something. Renu encourages Sayali to speak, but Sachin quickly interjects, claiming that Sayali was just repeating what he had said. Renu turns her focus back to Sachin, questioning how he will make money. Paresh, trying to lighten the situation, suggests he rest for a week. Renu, however, is worried and mentions that she had already ordered ration, wondering how they will manage. At this point, Roshni steps in, offering money, saying it’s from both her and Tejas’ share. Renu thanks them but doesn’t miss the chance to taunt Sachin and Sayali.
Sachin, trying to lighten the mood, jokes about Tejas and Roshni. Roshni, however, turns to Tejas, concerned about why Sachin is speaking like this. Tejas comments that body shaming isn’t right. Paresh asks Renu to stay quiet and gives Sachin permission to take a week’s rest before leaving. Renu, still angry, directs her frustration towards Sayali.
Later, Sachin talks to Anya on the phone. Sayali thanks him for standing up to Renu when she said something wrong. Sachin, however, expresses his concern about money. Sayali suggests they should just tell the family the truth, but Sachin disagrees, insisting that he’ll figure something out and find a job.
The next morning, Sachin goes to meet someone for work. The man is surprised to see Sachin and asks why he’s there. Sachin explains that he needs work as he no longer has the car, having sold it due to an emergency at home. He requests a rented car, promising to pay on time. However, the man tells him that he has a reputation for raising a hand against the financer, who also happens to be the head of the drivers’ union. As a result, all the travel agencies have been instructed to ban Sachin. The man adds that he can’t afford to make enemies with the financer, as he finances his cars. Sachin pleads, assuring him that he can make double the profit, but the man refuses, saying he can’t take that risk. Sachin, although disheartened, remains determined, declaring that he knows how to turn failure into success. He leaves, continuing to struggle in his job search. Overwhelmed, Sachin breaks down in tears.
Meanwhile, Sayali goes to a different location where she meets Dilip. She notices a bike and asks whose it is. Dilip explains it belongs to a friend and that he rushed over because she called. He asks her what’s wrong. Sayali then asks if he knows any moneylender as she needs to mortgage her gold bangles and borrow 10,000 rupees. Dilip is taken aback and asks if Renu has been torturing her, offering to lend her money instead. Sayali, however, worries and asks how he would manage to get that kind of money.
