Udne Ki Aasha 26th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sachin arriving to meet Sayali. He overhears her talking and assumes she’s only worried about her work, not about his dad. Dilip calls him over, and Shubha invites him to sit. She inquires about Paresh’s condition, asking if they’ve brought him home, and assures Sachin that they’ve been praying for his recovery. She tries to console him, saying his anger is justified and that it’s Sayali’s mistake. Sayali, confused, asks, “What wrong did I do?”
Sachin tells Sayali to come home. Sitting down, she looks upset and says, “You made me leave the house, and your family made me leave the hospital. Why are you here to take me back now?” Shubha encourages her to get up, but Sayali protests, “I told you, I didn’t do anything wrong. Why the sudden change?” Sachin explains that it’s not his decision; Paresh sent him, saying he won’t take food or medicine unless Sayali returns. Sachin admits, “I’m here because of Kaka, not because I want to be.” Shubha urges her to go back, reminding her that Paresh needs his medication. Sachin grows frustrated, warning, “Dad could have chest pains. He needs his medicine. Are you coming or not?” Shubha insists Sayali will go, nudging her to get up. Sachin, visibly irritated, adds, “I don’t have time to beg. I had to sell my car because of you. If you had kept the papers in order, this wouldn’t have happened. Did you even tell me you gave the papers to Dad?” Shubha explains, “We went to the pandit’s house to pray for Paresh’s health.” Sachin reiterates, “Dad needs his medicine. Are you coming?” Sayali reluctantly agrees, saying, “Yes, but only for Kaka’s sake.” Shubha reminds her not to argue with Sachin.
Meanwhile, Roshni is trying to get Paresh to take his medicine, but he refuses, saying, “Let Sayali come first.” Soon, Sachin brings Sayali home. As she enters, tears well up when she sees Paresh. He calls her over, and she approaches him while Renu taunts her from the sidelines. Paresh, trying to comfort Sayali, tells her not to cry.
Sayali, full of emotion, says, “Please forgive me.” Paresh gently reassures her, “Don’t cry.” She tries to explain herself, “It wasn’t my fault. I didn’t know Akash was going to get married that day.” But Renu immediately jumps in, accusing Sayali of lying, “Don’t pretend. You insisted on going to the temple that day. You planned all of this.” Sayali defends herself, explaining, “Akash asked me to talk to Riya, to convince her not to rush. I had no idea he was getting married.” Renu, still skeptical, retorts sarcastically, “Oh yes, everyone here believes you.” She accuses Sayali of creating stories and deceiving the family. Sayali continues to defend herself, but Sachin loses his patience and scolds her. Paresh intervenes, stopping Sachin. Sayali pleads, “No one trusts me, but you do, right, Kaka? You can scold me if I’ve done wrong.” Paresh, weary, replies, “I’ve lost the right to say anything. My sons are doing what they want.” Sachin, still upset, says, “Dad is hurt because of you.” Paresh starts coughing, and Sachin immediately apologizes, “I’m sorry, Dad. I won’t say anything more. Please don’t get stressed.”
Sayali is left in tears, but Paresh assures her, “I know you respect me a lot. I’m not angry with you; I’m just sad. You went to the temple to talk to Riya, and if you had told me that earlier, I wouldn’t have been upset. But forget about it. It’s all in the past.” He adds, “Kishor told me you visited me at the hospital and even tied this protective thread around my wrist.” Sayali nods. Paresh continues, “When I brought you home, I welcomed you as my daughter. I wanted you and Sachin to live happily together. That’s all I ever wanted.”
Sayali then asks Paresh, “Why haven’t you taken your medicines?” Paresh replies, “Give me the medicines.” Sayali asks Roshni to hand them over, and Paresh finally takes his medication.
Later that night, Sachin comes home and starts arguing with Sayali. Paresh overhears their fight from the other room and feels disheartened. Sayali, upset, says, “You trust everyone else more than your own wife.” Sachin, angry, accuses her, “You signed as a witness. You betrayed me and humiliated Dad. It’s over.” Sayali, hurt, responds, “I felt terrible too. I’m not the cause of all this.” But Sachin retorts, “You are the reason. I only brought you back because Dad asked me to. Whether you cry or not, I don’t care anymore.” He turns away and goes to bed, leaving Sayali in tears.
