Udne Ki Aasha 22nd November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Akash and everyone arriving to meet Aaji. Aaji scolds him for ruining Paresh’s reputation. She demands to know who he married and angrily asks him to explain. She accuses him of eloping and getting married. Renu steps in, saying that Akash married the girl he loved, so there’s no need for scolding. Aaji, however, expresses her anger, saying they have hidden so much from her, including Paresh’s health. Paresh walks in and reassures her, smiling as he says, “I’m fine, nothing happened to me.” Aaji is emotional and hugs him. She scolds him for undergoing a major operation without informing her, blaming his wife and sons for it. Paresh comforts her. Tejas dismisses it as a normal thing for someone his father’s age. Aaji scolds him for his careless attitude, and Renu comments on the situation.
Aaji continues, saying that Akash has eloped and married, and questions how Paresh can be at peace knowing this. Just then, Riya enters. Akash greets her and points out Aaji’s arrival. Aaji looks at Riya and asks if she’s the one Akash married. She questions if her parents would approve of such an act. Riya calmly responds, saying they informed their families, but her parents didn’t agree, so they had no other option but to marry. Akash asks Riya to remain silent. Aaji accuses her of being clever, adding that Paresh’s heart attack is a result of this marriage.
Riya defends herself, saying that parents should also respect their children’s decisions. Sayali intervenes, suggesting that Aaji freshen up and that she can prepare coffee for her. Riya agrees and leaves. Aaji remarks that Renu’s daughter-in-law is now making her dance to her tune. Sachin enters and asks Aaji when she arrived. Aaji, angered, slaps him and scolds him for not informing her about Akash’s marriage and Paresh’s heart attack. Sachin explains that he was going to tell her, but Paresh… Aaji interrupts, saying there are no excuses. She praises Sayali for telling her everything and accuses Renu of never respecting her. Sachin suggests Aaji slap Renu, to which she responds, saying Renu never told her anything. Paresh gestures for Sachin to leave.
Sayali comforts Sachin, telling him not to feel bad about Aaji’s words, and offers to get him tea. Sachin, upset, says she should have kept quiet. He ties a dupatta around her mouth, jokingly asking if she’s mad. She asks him why he’s acting this way, and he explains that Aaji slapped him because Sayali told her everything. She says she’s seen him get beaten up by Aaji before and jokes about how hard her hand is. He laughs but threatens to slap her if she continues teasing him. She shouts for Aaji to help, but he quickly stops, not wanting to be punished further. She explains that Aaji was planning to bring a girl’s family to arrange Akash’s marriage, and she had to tell her the truth before it became a bigger issue. Sachin asks why she had to tell her everything, but Sayali responds that Aaji was about to scold Paresh, so she had to explain everything to avoid further conflict. He says he won’t speak to Aaji now, and she leaves.
Aaji distributes prasad to everyone and talks to Riya about her job. Riya explains that she works in dubbing, and Akash elaborates on what dubbing involves. Riya says she enjoys her work and finds it fun. Aaji makes a playful comment about Renu, which makes everyone laugh, including Paresh. Renu, irritated, asks Tejas about Aaji’s remarks. Aaji explains customs to Riya, and then gifts her a saree. Riya thanks her and playfully mentions that Akash never gave her anything, making Aaji laugh. Riya hugs Aaji and says, “I love you.” Aaji responds with a simple, “Fine.” Akash asks what gift she got for him. Aaji promptly slaps him and says, “I got this for you.” Akash apologizes and asks for forgiveness, calling her his favorite cute Aaji.
Tejas and Renu check Aaji’s bag, with Tejas asking if she got anything for them. Aaji responds that she was in a hurry after hearing about Paresh’s health, and asks where Sachin is. Sayali says he’s upset and in his room. Aaji says she’ll handle him and asks Sayali to bring him. Sayali goes to Sachin, who’s singing, and says enough, Aaji is calling him. Sachin says he doesn’t want to talk to her. Aaji calls from outside the door, and Paresh asks if Aaji got Kharwas for him, which is his favorite. Sayali smiles as Paresh enjoys the treat. Riya asks what Kharwas is, and Aaji explains it to her. Everyone enjoys the Kharwas, while Sachin plans his next move.
