Udne Ki Aasha 20th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sachin expressing his concern for Paresh’s health. The senior doctor arrives and tells them that he will assess Paresh’s condition first before providing any updates. Sachin, anxious, mentions that Paresh has never experienced chest pain before, adding that he maintains a healthy lifestyle and even goes for morning walks. The doctor asks them to step outside for a discussion. Meanwhile, Sayali is at the temple, praying tearfully for Paresh’s recovery. Shubha and Juhi overhear her prayers and grow concerned.
The doctor informs the family that Paresh has a heart blockage, and blood isn’t reaching his heart. He explains that the situation is serious and that they need to clear the blockage immediately. Roshni asks what needs to be done next. The doctor explains that an angioplasty is required today itself, warning that if the procedure is delayed, Paresh could suffer a major heart attack. Everyone becomes even more anxious. Sachin, desperate, pleads with the doctor to save his father. The doctor reassures him that once the procedure is completed, Paresh will be fine. He instructs the junior doctor to prepare the OT.
Renu, visibly shaken, comments on how Paresh’s condition deteriorated so suddenly. The doctor confirms that the surgery must be performed today. Tejas asks about the medical expenses, and the doctor informs them that the cost is 4 lakhs. This worries the family even more. The doctor insists they need to deposit the money to book the OT, apologizing for the situation. Tejas wonders what they should do now, and Renu, distressed, reminds everyone that there’s no money at home. She adds that Sachin and Roshni are the ones supporting the household, and she has no source of income. Sayali continues to cry, explaining that Renu blamed her and refused to let her see Paresh.
Shubha defends Sayali, saying it’s not her fault and that poor Paresh is struggling with the burden of his children’s mistakes. She tells Juhi to reflect on her actions. Meanwhile, Sachin is still stressed. Kishor approaches him and tries to offer some support. Back at the temple, Sayali performs the aarti, fervently praying for Paresh’s health. Paresh’s condition worsens, and the doctor checks on him. Renu and the rest of the family watch in worry, but Paresh appears to calm down. The doctor stresses that the surgery cannot be delayed any further, as Paresh’s life is at risk. He asks if the payment has been made, to which Roshni responds that they’re still trying to arrange the funds. The doctor warns them that the heart surgeon has a flight today and won’t be available for another four days, which would be too late for Paresh. He urges them to make the deposit as soon as possible. Sachin assures him that they will manage it.
Kishor, realizing the urgency, asks how they will gather the money. Sachin admits that he doesn’t know. He asks Tejas if he has any money, but Tejas says he doesn’t. Roshni also admits she doesn’t have the funds. Kishor, disheartened, points out that Paresh has always helped others, but now, when he needs support, no one is there for him. Renu insists that they must find a way to arrange the money. Sachin begins making calls, trying to gather funds. Roshni suggests that Tejas take a loan from his office, but Tejas explains that it would take too long, and they need the money immediately. He wonders if they could ask Shakuntala for help, but Renu informs him that she’s out of the city. Renu then asks Roshni to seek help from her father. Roshni hesitates, revealing that she spoke to her father and found out he’s not in Dubai. She explains that he isn’t well and has gone to a meditation camp, but she doesn’t know his current location. Sachin accuses her of lying, leaving her worried.
As Sachin continues to make calls, Renu realizes they can’t rely on Roshni’s father for help. Frustrated, she asks what they’ll do next. Roshni, feeling cornered, lies and suggests that they could mortgage the house to get the money. Sachin, shocked, asks her to clarify what she means.
