Udne Ki Aasha 1st November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sachin in tears. Sayali approaches him, concerned. He opens up about his pain, and she assures him that she cares. She mentions needing his help to make clay diyas for Diwali. He responds that he’ll go get them, but she insists on making them herself with his assistance. He agrees, and they start crafting the diyas together. As “Bahara Bahara” plays, she brings joy to the moment, and they share a hug. He acknowledges her thoughtful gesture, knowing she didn’t need the diyas but made them to lift his spirits. She insists she genuinely needs them, to which he playfully counters that the diyas will dry in three days and must be used for the puja tonight. She laughs, suggesting they could save them for next Diwali, and he praises her cleverness.
Tejas and Roshni, Akash and Riya, along with Sachin and Sayali, get ready and gather. Renu compliments them. Paresh asks Sayali what gift she received, while Renu points out that Roshni, as the eldest bahu, should present her gifts first. Roshni shares that she brought healthy sweets for everyone and scented oil candles for better sleep, much to Renu’s delight. Renu then asks Riya about her gift, but Riya defers to Sayali. Riya mentions she got an automation kit, explaining that everything happens automatically. Roshni elaborates on the benefits of it. Paresh humorously inquires if they can upgrade their wives, catching Renu off guard. Sachin, amused, remarks that it’s too late for that and playfully taunts Akash and Riya.
Sayali urges Sachin to stay quiet. Sachin then shows what Sayali created, presenting the diyas and a picture of Devi Annapurna.
Akash questions Sayali about the diyas. She explains that everyone’s names are inscribed on them, and when they light the diyas, their names will shine brightly. Sachin appreciates the thoughtful gesture, expressing his intention to light one. Renu dismisses it as “cheap,” questioning the value of such a Diwali gift. Sayali defends her creation, stating that she made the diyas herself and that Diwali symbolizes joy that comes from good thoughts and family, a lesson instilled by her parents. Paresh agrees with her sentiment, affirming that they will use the diyas during the Laxmi pujan. Renu continues to taunt Sayali, while Roshni smiles in support.
Paresh, confused, asks Renu what she means. Sachin expresses his frustration over Renu’s constant negativity. Riya then queries Akash about their family dynamics, noting that it seems more like a battle than the fun he promised about living in a joint family. Renu feigns sweetness towards Sachin, who is puzzled by her sudden change in demeanor. Akash shifts the conversation, asking Riya about the surprise she mentioned. Paresh encourages Renu to stop her mockery of Sayali, inviting everyone to sit down for Riya’s upcoming game.
Riya introduces a bowl filled with chits, announcing that they will play dumb charades with a twist: each chit contains a song title, and players must act it out for others to guess the song and film. Sayali suggests forming couples teams, which Riya enthusiastically agrees is a great idea. Roshni points out that Sayali might know the chits in advance. Riya reassures them that she doesn’t cheat. Sachin, initially reluctant, is persuaded by Sayali to participate for her sake. She tells him how much she wants him to be praised in front of everyone, showcasing his coolness. With everyone ready to play, Renu is the first to take her turn. Sayali sets the timer for one minute as Renu picks a chit, checking the song title and lamenting how difficult it is. Tejas encourages her, saying they are all there to support her as Renu begins to dance to give hints for the song. Everyone watches closely, trying to guess the title.
