The episode begins with Sachin observing Sayali as she creates a Rangoli and complimenting her artistic skills. They share a moment together, and she playfully warns him not to ruin her work. He insists on helping, claiming he won’t spoil anything. Music plays softly in the background as he offers to fill in some color. She declines, and they hold hands for a brief moment. Just then, Akash and Riya arrive, causing Sachin to bump into Akash. Riya’s anger flares up. Paresh appears and watches the situation unfold. He asks Sachin to accompany him for a discussion. Sachin inquires if he’s alright, and Paresh assures him he is, wanting to explain the importance of maintaining harmony within the family. Sachin agrees, and Paresh gives him a warm hug. Meanwhile, Riya, Roshni, and Sayali are busy decorating the house and chatting together. Renu praises Riya and Roshni for their efforts. Paresh stands up for Sayali against Renu’s remarks. Renu declares that she will have her real Laxmi perform the puja. Sayali busies herself with cooking and explains the different sweet dishes to Riya.
Renu enters and again insults Sayali. Riya watches, concerned, and points out that she was merely conversing with Sayali, questioning why Renu is getting so worked up. Renu insists that she was just encouraging Sayali to work more quickly. Riya counters that they should all collaborate. She takes some sweets and asks Akash to assist Sayali. Renu dismissively tells Riya to let it go, asserting that Sayali will handle it, as that is the only thing she knows how to do. Sayali interjects, stating she can manage it. Sachin encourages her, noting that with so many capable people around, she shouldn’t have to do it all alone. Paresh supports this, saying that festive occasions are meant to be enjoyed together. Sachin lightens the mood by joking about Renu.
Sayali shares stories about her family’s celebrations. Renu retorts that Sayali may be poor, but her two daughters-in-law are affluent, claiming it’s only a matter of time before Riya distances herself from Sayali. Riya then asks Roshni about her experiences. Roshni recounts her life in Mumbai, emphasizing the challenges she faced in growing her business. Riya expresses her own struggles with choosing outfits and managing the parlor, admitting that Diwali has added to her stress. Paresh comments on everyone being surprised by Roshni’s journey, recalling how Sachin and Akash used to indulge in sweets while neglecting proper meals. Sachin reminisces about their childhood memories together. Sayali mentions that Renu requested rava laddoos, which she has prepared, and offers to make besan laddoos as well. Suddenly, Sachin stands up, prompting Sayali to ask what’s wrong. He replies that he needs to check if Aaji has called, and he leaves, leaving Sayali wondering what has come over him.
