Udne Ki Aasha 19th October 2024 Written Update
The episode opens with Renu stopping Sayali and scolding her. Sayali explains that she stood on Sachin’s back because he had a backache. Renu instructs Sachin to see a doctor to avoid any issues. She tells Sayali to wake up at 4:30 AM before leaving. Once Renu is gone, Sachin shuts the door, and Renu shares her concerns with Paresh. Paresh suggests that perhaps this helps relieve Sachin, questioning why Renu felt the need to intrude. Renu responds that she rushed in because Sachin shouted “Aai.” Paresh tells her to get some sleep, and Renu mentions her worry that Sachin might be upset with Sayali, but they seemed to have reconciled quickly. Sachin jokes that Renu loves him a little because she came running when he cried out in pain, and Sayali agrees it’s nice that he realized that.
Later, Sayali wakes up Sachin at 4:30 AM. He groans, wanting to sleep more, but she insists that Renu wants them to rise early. He questions why she’s already bathed and ready. Sayali encourages him to get up, and they head outside. Renu and Roshni arrive with the shagun. Sayali expresses her desire for them to celebrate Karwachauth together. Renu explains the significance of the fast, and Sachin makes a joke about Tejas. He mentions he will fast for Sayali. Sayali inquires about the Sargi, and Renu clarifies that it’s a gift from a Saas to her Bahu. Renu gives the Sargi to Roshni, who receives her blessings. Renu then hands Sargi to Sayali, adding a teasing remark.
Sachin comments that Renu cares for him, recalling how she didn’t fast when their father had a heart attack. He playfully asks Renu to give Sargi cheerfully or not at all. Renu agrees, giving Sargi with a smile. Sayali takes her blessings, and Sachin notices the differences in the Sargi baskets, leading to some playful banter. Renu and Sayali discuss the saree she plans to wear, one that Renu gifted her during Navratri. Renu invites them to join for a meal, and they sit down together. Sayali serves sweets, and Sachin feeds them to her, while Renu watches. Tejas feeds a piece of fruit to Roshni, and Paresh also shares some fruit with Renu. They all share smiles as Sachin departs.
In the morning, Sachin goes out to get a blouse stitched for Sayali. He mentions he’ll ask her about the neck design. The tailor requests measurements, but Sachin admits he doesn’t have them and will find out. Meanwhile, Renu feels hungry and heads to the kitchen but stops herself from grabbing a laddoo. Spotting Tejas, she scolds him for eating. Tejas apologizes, and Sachin walks in, commenting that he figured they wouldn’t be able to keep the fast. Tejas insists he hasn’t eaten anything, while Renu explains that she was advising him to avoid food until the moon sighting. They all exit, with Sachin sensing they are up to something.
