Udne Ki Aasha 19th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sachin and Sayali sharing a romantic moment. He grabs an umbrella and says, “You mentioned there’s fog, but we’re safe now, watch this.” The music plays as he attaches the umbrella to the bed. Holding up his phone’s torch, he says, “Let me show you now.” He fixes the phone to the top of the umbrella. Sayali smiles. He asks her to lie down. She asks about the moon, to which he replies, “I have the moon, you can enjoy the light.” She says, “If I’m your moon, you’re my sun.” He responds, “No, they come one by one, but we’re both here.” She then asks, “Are you the cloud that roams around the moon?” He laughs and says, “I think you’re speaking poetry. It’s fine if anyone hears it.” She says, “I love being here with you. Do you think of any songs?” He sings Chand mera dil…, and she joins him with Chalo dildar chalo… They both smile.
The next morning, Sayali is making rangoli. Aaji admires it. Paresh asks if Roshni’s uncle has arrived. They are shocked when Renu appears, dressed as Anarkali. The song Ankhon ki masti ke… plays as Paresh is immediately taken aback. He says, “Anarkali, what do you want to present?” Sayali and Aaji laugh. Paresh, still in awe, asks, “What’s all this, Renu?” Renu replies, “You fell for me, right? How do I look?” Sachin cracks a joke about her. Renu says that Roshni’s uncle is coming from Dubai, so she dressed up for the occasion. She urges everyone to dress well to make a good impression on him. She asks Sayali to write “Marhabba” in the rangoli. Aaji says it’s enough, but Renu insists. “Marhabba means you are welcome,” she explains, hoping it leaves a good impression. Sayali agrees to write it. Renu then asks Paresh to go. Paresh hands her a rose and she walks off, calling everyone together.
Akash and Riya arrive, surprised by Renu’s attire. Akash asks if there’s a fancy dress competition. Renu explains that she dressed as per Roshni’s uncle’s standards. She tells them to get ready as well. Aaji jokes about Renu’s outfit. She calls Roshni. Roshni and Tejas arrive and are stunned by Renu’s appearance. Roshni looks worried. Aaji says, “Renu is doing something strange, I can’t handle this. Tell me, where is your uncle? Is he coming?” Tejas assures, “Yes, he’s coming.”
Renu exclaims, “Great! He’s coming!” She asks Sayali to get the perfumes ready. Sachin asks why. Renu responds, “We’ll call belly dancers to welcome Sultan.” Tejas agrees that it’s a good idea. Renu then cuts in and says, “Stop joking.” Sachin asks when her uncle is arriving. Roshni quietly wonders, “I don’t know.” Renu continues giving orders, telling Sayali to prepare the aarti plate. Sayali informs her there’s no sugar for tea and coffee. Renu reacts, “What? How will we make it now?” Sayali signals Sachin, and he jokes, “Renu can’t even serve him juice, how will this go?” Renu insists that Sayali borrow sugar from the neighbors, asking her to pay 500 Rs. Sayali and Aaji laugh at her. Renu demands that she go. Sayali jokes that they have sugar at home. Sachin claps and praises her. Renu scolds her in return.
Sayali reassures Renu, “Don’t worry, everything will go fine.” Renu responds, “I’m doing all this to welcome Roshni’s family member.” She then thinks about which room to allocate to Roshni’s uncle. She checks the rooms and asks Paresh, “Which room should we give to Roshni’s uncle?” She suggests Tejas’ room. Tejas refuses, and Akash and Riya back him up. Sachin cheekily says, “You’ll give your room since your wife’s uncle is coming.” Tejas protests, “I can’t sleep outside.” Sachin starts singing a lullaby and jokes about how it’s the best lullaby ever. Roshni stops him. Renu says, “We need to decide which room for your uncle.” Roshni suggests, “He’ll adjust, don’t worry. Give our room to him, and Tejas and I will sleep in the hall.” Sachin comments, “Good, I want to see her uncle.” Renu secretly thinks, “I have to do something to make sure Sachin isn’t around when Roshni’s uncle arrives.” She says, “Sayali, we’ll send Sachin to get coconuts.” Sayali understands and remarks, “You could’ve just said you don’t want Sachin here when Roshni’s uncle arrives.”
