Udne Ki Aasha 17th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Sachin and Anya in the car, with Mangya driving. Sachin says that by the time he gets home, his dad will already be asleep and won’t notice that he’s drunk. He shares how much he enjoyed going to the bar, and how it opened his eyes to people’s problems. He suddenly shouts, startling Anya. She asks what’s wrong, and Sachin replies that it’s nothing and pretends to sleep. However, he’s really thinking about Sayali and growing more anxious by the minute. He turns to Anya and tells her to call Sayali and check if he, Sachin, is with her. Confused, Anya asks what he means, reminding him that he’s sitting right next to her. Sachin, clearly distracted, insists again, asking her to make up an excuse and check on Sayali. Anya notices his anxiety and says, “You’re scared.” Sachin denies it but is clearly bothered.
Meanwhile, Riya is upset, hugging Akash and crying. She tells him that he should have told her that Sachin had hit him. She’s furious, asking what right Sachin has to do that. Akash tries to calm her, explaining that Sachin and Sayali had a fight and Sachin’s anger is somewhat justified. Riya refuses to accept it and warns that if it happens again, she won’t hesitate to stand up to Sachin, no matter what.
At Sayali’s house, Shubha advises her to return to her in-laws’ home and talk to Sachin. Sayali responds, saying she did try to talk to him, but Sachin just scolded her. Frustrated, she tells Shubha that she’ll only go back if Sachin comes to take her. Shubha tries to calm her, asking her not to get angry. Just then, Anya calls Sayali, and Sayali picks up, hearing Sachin’s voice in the background before the call abruptly ends. Anya asks Sachin if she should call again, but Sachin looks even more worried. Sayali, meanwhile, tells Juhi that Sachin had Anya call her, but she’s going to wait for him to call her directly.
Sachin, getting more agitated, directs Mangya to drive straight to Sayali’s house. Anya, sensing the tension, questions why Sachin didn’t just tell them earlier that he wanted to go to Sayali’s place. Sachin, though drunk, assures them he hasn’t forgotten Sayali’s address.
They reach Sayali’s house, but Sachin refuses to go inside, admitting that he’s too drunk. He insists that Anya go in and check if Sayali is home. Anya protests, saying she’s also drunk, but Sachin points out that she’s not as drunk as he is. He asks Anya to go knock on the door, check on Sayali, and return. Anya reluctantly agrees, but Sachin adds, “Tell her I miss her.” Confused, Anya asks how he’s supposed to say that. Sachin slaps him lightly, saying, “Tell her that Sachin misses her.” Anya agrees and heads towards the door.
At Sayali’s house, Anya introduces herself and awkwardly asks if Sayali is home. Sayali steps out, and Anya, putting on an act, tells her that Sachin is missing and hasn’t been answering his calls. Sayali is taken aback, and Shubha is also concerned. Anya tries to maintain the lie, but Sayali, realizing what’s happening, plays along. She tells Anya that Sachin is actually home, had dinner, and is now asleep inside. Anya, confused, tries to clarify, asking, “Really?” Sayali firmly responds that Sachin mentioned Anya would come by, joking that Anya always drags him out for drinks. She even offers to wake him, but Anya refuses, saying to let him sleep.
Anya, puzzled, leaves, mumbling to himself that Sachin is somehow with him and also at home with Sayali. Inside, Sayali tells Shubha about the strange encounter, and Shubha advises her to talk to Sachin when he’s sober, reminding her not to add more complications. Sayali agrees, noting it’s better to wait until the morning to discuss things.
As Anya walks back to the car, Sachin continues to anxiously wait. Meanwhile, Sayali reflects on how Sachin didn’t bother to visit her in person, even though she knows he’s thinking about her. She vows to herself that she will not come in front of him again unless he makes the effort to see her first.
