Udne Ki Aasha 13th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Paresh returning home, visibly shaken and recalling the events that led him there. He’s upset and pours water over his head, feeling tainted. Sachin stops him and asks what he’s doing. Paresh, still emotional, says, “I had a spotless reputation, but today I’m coming from jail. I feel dirty.” Sachin reassures him, “You don’t need to do this.” He fetches a towel and wraps it around Paresh, who angrily throws it away, saying, “I didn’t win any battle today; I’ve become a culprit.” Renu intervenes and says, “Forget about Akash, let’s focus on Paresh. Come inside, we’ll take care of you.”
Once inside, Renu prepares to perform an aarti for Paresh, but he resists, saying, “I didn’t win any battle; I’m just a man who lost his honor.” Renu remains calm and tells him, “It’s over now, Paresh. Forget about it. I’m just thankful you’re back home safely.” She proceeds with the aarti despite his reluctance, assuring him that everything will be alright. She then asks him to change clothes and offers to make tea. Tejas, noticing the tension, also asks for tea, but Renu replies sternly, “I was talking to Paresh, not you.” Paresh laughs softly to himself, and Sachin, sensing something is off, asks, “What’s so funny?”
Paresh, with a heavy heart, recalls, “I once told Joy with pride that I raised my sons well, that they would never bring shame to the family. But today, I’m laughing at myself. People say you shouldn’t trust anyone blindly, even your own blood. Joy was right—Akash has let us down.” Sachin tries to console him, saying, “This isn’t your fault, Paresh. Akash made his own decisions.” Renu chimes in, blaming Sayali for brainwashing Akash and pushing him into a hasty temple marriage. Sachin declares, “I don’t want Sayali in this house.”
Paresh, however, disagrees, “Sayali wanted to tell us something, but instead, we’re blaming her. I told her to come home. Where is she now?” Renu responds dismissively, “She’s probably at her mother’s house, too ashamed to face us. She’ll come back when she’s ready. Let’s forget about her for now.” Sachin tries to move forward, suggesting Paresh freshen up and have a meal, but Paresh declines, still weighed down by the loss of his respect.
The next morning, Sachin, furious, says, “I won’t let Akash off so easily today.” Hearing this, Tejas becomes anxious and tells Renu, “Sachin’s gone after Akash.” Renu, unfazed, tries to divert his attention. Tejas, however, remains fixated, lamenting, “If Akash had told us he was in love, we could’ve convinced everyone. But he told Sayali instead.” Renu, frustrated, replies, “I chose a good girl for you, but I don’t know about Riya. Who knows if Akash will be happy with her?” Roshni enters, offering to order food online to ease the tension, and Renu agrees, too tired to argue.
Just then, Sayali arrives home. She quietly heads to her room, but Renu spots her. Furious, she drags Sayali back into the living room and berates her. “What are you doing here?” she yells. Tejas and Roshni join in, questioning how Sayali could help Akash marry without telling anyone. Sayali tries to defend herself, “Akash told me he loved Riya.” Roshni interjects, “You should have informed Renu!” Renu, clearly enraged, accuses Sayali of plotting behind their backs, claiming that Sayali and Riya had planned this all along.
Sayali denies the accusations, but Roshni calls her a liar. Renu, in a fit of anger, orders Sayali to leave and go to her mother’s house. Sayali stands her ground, saying, “I won’t leave until Sachin tells me to go.” Renu challenges her, instructing Tejas to call Sachin and put him on speaker. When Sachin answers, Renu fills him in, saying that Sayali is standing at the door, demanding to stay. Sachin, without hesitation, orders Sayali to leave, reminding her of the damage done to their father’s reputation. Sayali pleads, “It’s not my fault. Please listen to me.” But Sachin is unmoved, reiterating, “Tell her to leave the house.” As her memories with Sachin flash before her eyes, the song *Pyaar Jhoota Tha* plays softly in the background, while Sayali stands heartbroken.
