Suman Indori 23rd September 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Suman praying to God, asking for blessings so that her food tastes like prasad. She politely asks the Royal Caterers’ chef if she can make a suggestion, hoping he won’t mind. Gitanjali, watching, thinks to herself that she made a mistake by calling Suman, fearing she might cause trouble now. Suman respectfully asks the chef to remove his shoes before entering the kitchen. The chef dismisses her request, saying, “This isn’t my house’s kitchen.” Suman calmly replies, “It may not be your house, but it’s Maa Annapurna’s place, and even if you don’t believe that, surely you understand that dirt from shoes can get into the food.” She then removes her own slippers.
Just then, Devika enters and mocks Suman for her worn-out slippers, saying, “Even the cobbler must be tired of fixing them. They belong in the dustbin.” Rishi observes that while Suman takes care of everyone else, she often neglects herself. Devika continues, “We are from Royal Indore Caterers and make 5-star food. We know what we’re doing, so focus on your own work.” She walks away, leaving Malini fuming, but Suman encourages her to focus on their task. Suman invokes Lord Ganesh and begins preparing the food, but the chefs have taken up all the space. Malini worries, “How are we going to cook with no space?” Suman responds, “This must be part of Devika’s plan to stop us from getting the catering order.”
Meanwhile, Devika is scheming with Akhil, Poorvi, and Kritika, asking, “Are you all ready and know what to do?” They nod in agreement. Devika warns, “Don’t underestimate her; Suman’s chaat is famous in Sarafa. She may have magic in her hands that makes people keep coming back for more.” Kritika comments, “Will her food taste as good here?” Devika, determined, says, “We won’t let her win. Her so-called garbage food won’t even reach Papa.” She then instructs Kritika to implement her plan. Poorvi and Akhil head to the kitchen, where Poorvi tells Suman, “Don’t touch my coffee maker,” and instructs the servant to move it. Malini asks the chefs to give them some space, but they ignore her.
Devika taunts Malini, “You’re used to cooking in a small cart. Why do you need such a big kitchen now?” Malini feels insulted, but Suman confidently replies, “If we can serve the entire Sarafa market, we can certainly cook for this small family.” Kritika questions whether Suman and her team even wear gloves. Suman explains, “Yes, we wear gloves in Sarafa, but we don’t wear caps. Instead, we cover our heads with dupattas.” She ties a dupatta around her head, ready to work. Just then, Kritika orders Bhumi to make four cups of tea, as her father is coming and this will be a test for Suman. Suman starts to worry, thinking Gajendra Gupta might reject her food without even tasting it.
Gajendra arrives, questioning Chandrakant, “I heard you’re considering giving the catering contract to the girl who slapped and took Kritika to the police station?” Teerth, overhearing, thinks Devika’s gossip network is efficient, as the news spread even before the decision was finalized. Devika pretends to scold Kritika for leaking family matters and apologizes to Chandrakant, vowing to teach Kritika better values. Teerth, however, isn’t fooled by Devika’s act and knows she’s hiding her true intentions. Gajendra, still upset, says, “You called the girl who insulted my daughter into our home.” Devika, trying to play the victim, says, “Papa ji is too kind-hearted to see others’ pain. But it was Teerth who called her for his own benefit.”
Meanwhile, Rishi reassures Suman to trust Neta ji, saying, “He’ll make sure you get the contract.” But Suman remains skeptical, saying, “He’s like an onion peel—he’ll only make us cry.” Devika continues her plan, retrieving a 20-rupee coin that Suman once gave her. She sneaks into the kitchen and slips the coin into a paratha. Suman, catching her, asks, “What are you doing here?” Devika snaps back, “This is my house and my kitchen. You’re the outsider here, so why are you questioning me?” Suman retorts, “You don’t belong here, so stop coming in whenever you feel like it.” Devika, ignoring her, accuses Suman’s assistant of forgetting sugar. Bhumi clarifies that she had already placed it on the tray.
As Devika leaves, Malini worries aloud, “What if she added something poisonous to the food?” Kritika grows anxious, prompting Devika to assure her, “Don’t worry, this will be a disaster for them. Just wait for the big blast.” Bhumi asks if the rotis are ready, and Suman assures her they will be in two minutes.
Meanwhile, in the hall, the head chef scolds his assistants for not working properly, warning them not to ruin the reputation of Royal Indore Caterers. In the kitchen, Suman begins smelling something burning but brushes it off. She prays for everything to go well. Suddenly, Teerth appears, catching her off guard. Teerth, with a teasing smile, says, “You called me, and here I am.” Suman corrects him, “I was praying to God, not you.” Teerth jokes, “Look at me with love, and you’ll see an angel instead of a devil.” He continues flirting, saying he’s hungry and asking when she’ll serve him food. Suman, flustered, says, “Just wait five minutes.” She slips, and Teerth catches her.
