Suman Indori 20th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode opens with Devika asserting to Gajendra that this is her sasural. Gajendra retorts that it is hell for Kritika. Kritika interjects, claiming this is her house. In response, Gajendra slaps her. Devika argues that her sasural family understands Kritika’s pain, while Gajendra cannot see it. She explains that Kritika is in shock and unable to cope. Gajendra becomes furious and blames Devika for ruining Kritika’s life, recalling how he had wanted to sever ties with her after she eloped and married Guru. He exclaims that God should not grant a sister like her to anyone. Guru steps in, reminding Gajendra that he is addressing his wife, not just his daughter. Chandrakant tells Gajendra to leave. Gajendra insists Kritika come with him, but Kritika states firmly, “I am Kritika Gupta now; Kritika Mittal is dead.” Gajendra continues to demand she come, but Devika asserts that Kritika will not leave.
Meanwhile, everyone is gathered in Suman’s house, mourning Rishi. The guests begin to depart. Teerth looks at Suman, and later makes tea to serve. He distributes the tea to everyone and approaches Suman, who refuses to drink. Teerth insists he made it for Rishi, recalling Rishi’s sayings about Indori people never refusing pudina tea and hot poha. He affectionately calls him Sala and suggests they place these offerings in front of Rishi’s photo whenever they eat. Suman asks him how long he plans to hide his tears. He replies that Rishi wouldn’t want them to cry, wiping away their tears.
Devika defends her role in caring for Kritika since their mother’s death, emphasizing that she has looked after her as a mother and shared all her pain. She questions Gajendra’s absence during that time. Gajendra concedes that while Devika has done everything for Kritika, he has done nothing. He pours water, stating he is performing Tilanjali for them. Devika asks what he is doing, to which he replies that both of them are dead to him, and he is discarding them from his life and wealth. Devika urges him to listen. Chandrakant contemplates whether this reckless girl can remain here.
Suman expresses that her tea cup is empty. Teerth pours some tea from his cup into Rishi’s cup, then brings mathri, saying it was Bhumi’s favorite. Suman talks to Rishi, telling him about his brother, Neta ji, who is being supportive in their difficult time. She reflects on how she never noticed this goodness before, noting that he is there for them despite their past fights. She acknowledges the risk he took for Rishi. Devika hugs Gajendra, pleading for him to listen. Gajendra admits he raised his hand against Kritika for the first time at Devika’s urging and states that everyone will pay for this. He tells Devika he did as she asked, insisting Kritika isn’t strong like them. Kritika counters that she was weak until her heart broke and declares that now she possesses the power of her broken heart, vowing to drive everyone mad and separate Suman from Teerth.
Teerth reassures Rishi’s photo that he will take care of Suman. Suman cries, and Teerth encourages her to eat the mathri he made. Suman takes a bite, and Teerth gently wipes her chin while Gulshan captures their moment in a photograph.
Gajendra hugs Kritika, asking if she felt pain. Kritika confirms she did. Devika comments that Gajendra’s actions evoke sympathy for Kritika and intensify her pain between Suman and her. She suggests they will use this situation to their advantage. Gajendra agrees, attributing the turmoil to Teerth. Devika concurs, expressing her confidence in their plan for revenge, ensuring that Suman will cry and Teerth will beg to marry Kritika. She asserts that Suman and Teerth will be ensnared in her web and unable to escape. Teerth promises Suman that he will always be by her side as her courage and asks if she will give him the chance to be that support. Gulshan, fuming, states that Teerth has taken Suman from him and declares he will not allow her to remain in her sasural. He plots to sabotage their happiness.
Later, Devika informs Reva that Maasi is unwell and will apologize to her tomorrow. She checks a photo sent by Gulshan, becoming furious, proclaiming she will make him beg at Kritika’s feet. Teerth offers Suman a pillow as she drifts to sleep, and he sits nearby, watching over her.
