Suman Indori 1st November 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Chandrakant asking Devika to take the aarti plate for the puja. Suman interjects, telling Chandrakant that Mummy ji should perform the puja. Chandrakant recalls how his Dadi had seven bahus and was unsure whom to assign the responsibility of the puja. He explains that she used a coin method to decide, and since Devika arrived, Gitanjali has accepted her defeat in this matter, allowing Devika to take on the puja. Suman argues that the competition should occur again since Devika has returned. She insists that they must uphold their customs and values, declaring that this is the right way to determine who deserves to perform the puja. Devika defends her long-standing role, stating that she has been doing this puja for years. Suman counters that it is time to pass the responsibility to the younger bahu. Devika insists that one must fight for this duty. Suman agrees to the challenge, mentioning that when Akhil’s wife arrives, she should also get a chance to compete, to honor the family’s traditions. Akhil expresses confidence that Devika will win. Teerth suggests a competition between the Devrani and Jethani, and Chandrakant agrees. Devika remains confident of her victory, while Suman believes that the truth will prevail. Chandrakant places a coin in the bowl, prompting Akhil to suggest searching for it. As the competition begins, Suman stops Devika, revealing that she has the coin hidden in her hand. Teerth calls her a cheater, and Reeva accuses her of dishonest play, while Gitanjali claims that this is how Devika has been winning against her all along.
Chandrakant questions Devika about the alleged cheating. Devika explains that she intended to use her lucky coin given by Papa ji but found that he had already placed a coin. Suman reassures everyone and takes the coin from the bowl, asking Devika to place her own coin. Devika does so, and both she and Suman find the coin. Devika appears upset, while Suman thinks that she has arrived to claim her place. As they reveal their hands, Reeva requests Devika to show hers, but there’s no coin. Suman reveals her coin instead, prompting Chandrakant to announce that Suman, the “Chaat wali,” has emerged victorious. He declares that she will perform the puja the following day. Suman bows to take blessings from everyone, then turns to Chandrakant to ask something. He jokingly suggests she is coveting his Lakshmi. Suman replies that no wealth matters to her more than the blessings of Mummy ji and Chandrakant. She emphasizes that Mummy ji is the first Lakshmi of the household, so she wishes to perform the puja alongside her. Gitanjali is moved by this sentiment. Devika whispers to Gitanjali that Suman aims to take everything away from her. Chandrakant acknowledges Suman’s victory but is surprised she wishes to share it with another. Suman responds that happiness multiplies when shared and sorrows diminish when divided.
Later, Suman takes out a picture of Rishi and explains that she didn’t come merely to expose someone, but to fulfill a genuine bond of love and truth. Devika enters and tells her not to leave her belongings scattered, hinting that she will soon be out of the house. Suman retorts that she doesn’t engage in cheap tactics, unlike Devika, who is adept at cheating and creating rifts between family members. She asserts that Devika should feel ashamed for treating their mother-in-law as an unwanted presence. Suman declares that she has arrived to counter all of Devika’s schemes and will respond appropriately. Devika scoffs at Suman’s newfound confidence, stating that she has ruled this house for seven years and doubts Suman’s ability to perform the puja. Suman insists she will do the aarti in her style and ensure everyone receives Prasad. Teerth enters, praising Suman for managing the situation aptly, in her unique Indori way. Noticing Devika, he admits he hadn’t seen her, claiming her actions are so subtle. He mentions that he and Gitanjali have been overlooking her behaviors, but now that Suman ji is here, she will sharpen everyone’s awareness. He accuses Devika of wanting something that doesn’t belong to her, likening it to how she took the Diwali puja coin from Maa.
Devika yells at Teerth, but he insists that the room belongs to him and Suman. He embraces Suman, telling Devika that he wishes to spend quality time with his wife. He asserts that they haven’t had the chance to connect well, and tonight they will take the next step in their relationship. Teerth asks Devika to leave them alone, bidding her goodbye. Devika leaves the room, contemplating that if they take the next step, Suman will be here permanently, and she must act quickly.
Teerth encourages Suman to proceed, but she suggests they take their time to get comfortable with one another first. As she retreats a bit, Teerth presses on, asking when they will take that step. He emphasizes that such moments should happen at night. As Suman falls onto the bed, Teerth retrieves the pillow from behind her.
