Suman Indori 14th November 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Chandrakant asking Suman why she set up a Chaat stall outside his shop and what drama she is planning now. Suman replies, saying she didn’t do anything wrong, and suggests they go inside to talk. Devika warns that she’ll bring them shame and urges him to go inside and discuss things. Suman asks her customers to wait as the stall opening will begin shortly. Devika pulls her aside and says that Suman should see which dreams are worth chasing, adding that Papa Ji has closed her chaat stall and, because of what she has done, her entry will be banned from the Mittal house. She tells Suman that Marwadi doesn’t tolerate interference in his business or adulteration in ghee, and asks what would happen if Suman interferes with her business. Suman responds by saying that it is Papa Ji’s business, not hers. Devika looks back as Suman mentions Papa Ji. Suman insists that she, too, knows how to play games and win, and that she’s known as Suman Indori. Chandrakant shouts “Indori.” Devika urges her to come. Akhil comments that Papa Ji will make Suman a target. Suman approaches him, asking him to listen. Teerth calls Akhil, asking if Papa is angry. Akhil says that Papa is furious, and asks if Teerth knows about her stall. Teerth confirms he does, and asks Akhil what’s happening inside.
Chandrakant scolds Suman for making a false promise to him. Suman pleads with folded hands, insisting she didn’t lie to him. Akhil says Papa Ji is in war mode, and adds that both Papa Ji, Devika Bhabhi, and Suman are inside. Chandrakant says he will decide what punishment she deserves and that she has no place in the house. Akhil warns that Papa is angry and Suman is standing there with folded hands. Teerth wonders why Suman Ji didn’t allow him to come. Bhumi bumps into Akhil and asks what will happen to Suman Di. Akhil grimly replies that Papa Ji will tear her apart. Bhumi says she will go and talk to him, but Akhil holds her hand and says this is a family matter. He says he will help Papa and opens the door. Chandrakant throws shoes at him, asking him to stay outside.
Suman pleads that she didn’t break her promise. Chandrakant accuses her of lying right to his face. Suman explains that he told her not to set up the stall on Sarafa lane, and she had promised him. She adds that this is not Sarafa lane, but their shop lane, with a different pincode. She insists that selling chaat here won’t ruin their respect. Devika interrupts, accusing her of manipulating words. Suman responds by telling Devika that it was her idea to set up the stall. Devika agrees, admitting she told Suman to focus on taking care of her family and avoid working. Chandrakant agrees with her. Suman, however, clarifies that Devika Bhabhi had asked her to live like Kumbkaran. Devika denies suggesting that and says she only encouraged Suman to relax like Kumbkaran. Suman replies that Kumbkaran’s sleep was his helplessness, not a strength. She tells the story of how Kumbkaran, after doing Brahma’s tapasya, prayed for a boon, but Saraswati Maa sat on his tongue and prevented him from asking for Indra’s throne. Instead, Kumbkaran asked for sleep and was granted it. Suman says it is important to speak wisely because Saraswati Maa sits on your tongue in such moments. Chandrakant asks what the point of this lecture is. Suman says it’s the lesson Saraswati Ji wanted her to share. She mentions that Devika reminded her of this and encouraged her to take action.
Chandrakant insists that he won’t allow her to keep the stall, stating that he has invested his life into this shop. He tells her to leave. Devika questions why he’s acting like this. Suman responds that she’s showing courage because she has to take care of her family, just as Papa Ji has done for his. Devika dismisses it, claiming Suman is comparing herself to Papa Ji. Suman defends herself, saying she’s inspired by him. She adds that if he can be the Namkeen King, she wants to be the Chaat Queen. She points out that just like Devika has 12 shops, then 26 and 45, her husband’s family is hers as well. She explains that she made a promise to her late father to take care of her family. She says she has kept every promise made to Papa Ji, so why would she break the one to her father. Teerth enters the room. Chandrakant demands to know if Teerth gave money to her family as he had asked. Suman clarifies that he wanted to help, but she doesn’t want charity.
Chandrakant warns her not to forget that she is his daughter-in-law. Suman says that it is her good fortune to be his daughter-in-law and Teerth’s wife, but it is her responsibility to take care of her family. Chandrakant refuses to allow her to run the stall. Suman tells him that Devika Bhabhi has lied about Papa Ji not differentiating between his children. Chandrakant insists that he doesn’t differentiate, that he treats all his children the same—scolding or loving them equally. Suman questions why he differentiates between bahus. She tells him that if Devika Bhabhi can run a shop, she should be allowed to run her chaat shop too. Chandrakant says that Devika doesn’t make chaat. Suman counters that her business will benefit the Namkeen shop. Chandrakant demands that Teerth take her to the doctor. Teerth asks him to listen to Suman. Suman continues that every person who comes to her chaat stall will also visit the Namkeen shop. Teerth agrees, mentioning that Suman has many customers. Suman adds that not everyone who buys chaat will buy namkeen, which is why she plans to give 25 percent of her profit to Mittal Namkeen. Devika refuses to agree with the idea. Suman asserts that if Papa Ji allows Devika to work, then he should make her a business partner too. She looks at Chandrakant, asking him to decide.
