Suman Indori 12th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with a reporter announcing that it’s the first time a hospital is being decorated for a bidaai of a sarafa girl, Suman, with Teerth Mittal. Hema urges Sumi not to feel like she’s leaving and encourages her to thrive in her new home. Malini reminds her to bring joy to her new household. Hema advises Teerth to ensure that no tears fall from Suman’s eyes and to keep her happy. Teerth nods in agreement. Suman and Teerth glance at Rishi, their eyes filling with tears. Malini reassures everyone that Rishi will recover soon. Hema asks Suman not to linger during the bidaai and tells her to go. Suman promises she will visit tomorrow. Teerth tells Rishi to get well soon, and Rishi responds that he will recover for both of them, asking Teerth to take care of his Sumi, as she is his everything, and wishes them happiness. Bhumi thinks she hasn’t been able to tell anything to Sumi di, but wonders who she should confide in. Rishi watches as Suman and Teerth leave. Suman throws rice grains behind her, following the bidaai ritual as the song “Dilbaru” plays. Bhumi hugs Suman, crying. Reporters cover the bidaai ceremony. As everyone heads out with Suman and Teerth, Gulshan reflects on how he thought Devika would help him win Suman back, but he lost her instead. Poorna calls, questioning how Suman could marry Neta. Gulshan explains Rishi’s unfortunate condition led Teerth to marry Suman, and she says she will come over.
Akhil arrives home and announces that Teerth is bringing Suman there. Teerth enters, holding Suman’s hand. Devika looks on angrily. Gitanjali mentions laddoo. Kritika is in tears. Gajendra appears furious. Everyone’s eyes are on them. Kritika notices Suman’s mangalsutra and sindoor, observing Teerth holding her hand. Devika strides towards them.
Gitanjali calls out to Devika. She declares that today no one will stop her from doing what she intends to do. She pleads with her father, Chandrakant. He tells her that neither she nor Kritika have done anything wrong and that they have the right to punish the guilty. Devika apologizes to him for speaking harshly and admits her mistakes, acknowledging that she has committed a grave sin and requests to be punished. Chandrakant reassures her that she hasn’t done wrong, explaining that she has transformed from a Lakshmi to a Kali because of them. He affirms that she is truly his daughter and not just a daughter-in-law. Devika expresses to Gitanjali that she needs everyone’s support for what she is about to do. Teerth and Suman exchange glances. Devika steps toward them again, but Teerth positions himself in front of Suman, shielding her, and pleads with Devika. Chandrakant warns Teerth against speaking ill of Devika, threatening to expel him and bring harm to himself, saying his mother would become a widow.
Devika calls for the servant Narsingh, who brings in the aarti plate, shocking Chandrakant and the others. Devika asserts that she is the elder bahu of the house and Teerth’s bhabhi. She acknowledges that although he has forgotten his responsibilities, she remembers hers and will welcome the new bahu. Gajendra questions her statement, while Chandrakant insists they don’t know Suman’s family and that he does not accept the marriage. Devika smiles, thinking about how they made her Kattu cry and how she will retaliate. Gajendra comments that such relationships can form and break. Devika insists that she must welcome Suman. Gajendra expresses concern about what the Mittal family has done to cause his daughters to refuse to leave the house, noting both Kritika and Devika’s attachment. Devika tells Teerth she will help him explain to her father. She performs their aarti and tilak, instructing Poorvi to play a celebratory song, emphasizing that this is a joyful bride’s welcome, not a funeral procession. Poorvi agrees.
