Rabb Se Hai Dua 27th October 2024 Written Update
The judge tells Ibadat that she is an educated girl, so she doesn’t need a man like Subhan, who doesn’t even love her. Ibadat replies that she is not that strong and explains that all choices were given to Subhan and Mannat to marry each other, but they didn’t. Subhan chose to marry her because Mannat ran away from her altar, and her mother wished for them to marry. Ibadat gave up her own wishes and married him. She says, “I have given my everything to him, but he is not a piece of property that I can just give away. I’ve given my life, my breath, my heart, my everything to him—how can I let him go?” She shares that she dreamed of marrying him since childhood, even before she knew what love was. When they grew up and he expressed his love for Mannat, she was ready for them to marry and did everything in her power to facilitate their union. But Mannat didn’t want him; she was willing to destroy their family’s name, forcing Subhan and Ibadat to marry to preserve that honor. Ibadat insists Subhan isn’t a bad person, and when she saw he was unhappy, she offered him the divorce papers, but he refused to sign them. “I know him, and I know he respects this relationship. He loves everyone, so I am sure he will learn to love me in time. If you could see him through my eyes, you would understand how soft-hearted and loving he is.” Subhan becomes emotional upon hearing her words. Mannat interjects, stating that Subhan is a good man and isn’t speaking up because he wants to divorce Ibadat, not out of love for her, but because of Ibadat’s character. She declares that Subhan wishes to leave her because of her sins. Ibadat is taken aback by this accusation. Mannat continues, asserting that Subhan wants to leave her due to her affairs with other men. Subhan protests, “What are you saying?” Mannat whispers to him that they don’t have a choice and must lie now. The judge inquires about the commotion, and Ibadat asserts that Mannat is instructing him to stay silent, knowing that Mannat is lying and attempting to tarnish her character. She pleads with Subhan not to compromise his integrity for the sake of this divorce, saying, “You might win here today, but you will lose all your honor. You won’t see my face again.” Mannat retorts, “That’s exactly what we want; he wants to divorce you and never see you again.”
Dua wakes up in the suitcase, screaming for help. Hamida approaches and asks Kashaf if she heard any noise. Dua faints again.
The judge asks Mannat who she is. She replies, “I am here with Subhan.” The judge questions her status, and the lawyer states she is a witness for their side, submitting the relevant papers. Mannat steps into the witness box, while Subhan glares at her. The judge warns her not to make allegations without proof. Mannat insists she can prove that Ibadat is characterless. She presents Ibadat’s photos with Armaan, leaving Ibadat in shock as she recalls how Armaan took photos of her without her permission. She had asked him to delete them, but he never did, even editing them to make it appear they were sitting close together. The judge inquires about who Armaan is, and Mannat replies that he is one of Ibadat’s boyfriends. “I wish I had more photos of her with other men. She is a cheap woman, and that’s why Subhan wants to divorce her.” The judge turns to Ibadat, asking if she has anything to say about the photos. Ibadat glances at Subhan, wondering if he will remain silent even after all of this.
