Rabb Se Hai Dua 19th September 2024 Written Update
Scene 1
Gulnaz sobs and complains that Hamida is heartless, she beat me up badly. Nigar is busy applying makeup, and Gulnaz scolds her, telling her she should keep an eye on others. Kaynaat arrives and tries to calm her down. Gulnaz says Subhan hasn’t divorced Ibadat, so their plan failed. Kaynaat responds that Mannat has completely taken control of Subhan, so there’s no need to worry.
Ibadat cries, lamenting that she gave everything to this relationship, questioning why this is happening to her. Dua and Hamida enter, and Ibadat tries to hide her tears. Dua gently says, “I understand your pain.” Ibadat brushes it off, saying he broke her heart, but it’s not a big deal. She adds, “You taught me everything, but not how to deal with a broken heart.” Hamida points out that since he hasn’t been able to divorce her, it means she still holds a place in his heart. Ibadat bitterly replies, “You expect me to celebrate that? Even if he accepts me someday out of pity, what then? I don’t want his charity.” Dua comments that she sees a fire in Ibadat, a fire that can destroy everything in its path. She acknowledges that while one shouldn’t stay with the wrong person, it’s unrealistic to expect perfection from people. Dua suggests giving Subhan another chance, but Ibadat is disappointed and asks, “What’s my fault in all of this?” Hamida then questions why Ibadat hasn’t signed the divorce papers. Ibadat replies that it’s because Subhan started this whole situation, but if they want her to sign, she will. Dua says she can’t bear to see Ibadat’s life in ruins, but Ibadat stands firm, saying, “What about my self-respect? I have the strength to endure this, so let me be.” Dua prays for her peace and leaves with Hamida. Ibadat, left alone, cries and says, “I’m fine… I’m not fine…” and prays for strength.
Meanwhile, Subhan remembers Mannat ordering him to divorce Ibadat, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. He thinks about how much he hates Ibadat and can’t imagine living with her, but wonders why he couldn’t sign the papers. Frustrated, he smashes a vase. Mannat walks in and asks if he’s having second thoughts about leaving Ibadat, questioning why he didn’t sign the papers. Subhan replies that it would’ve made Ibadat right, and he refuses to be the first to sign. He believes she’s trying to make him look weak in front of others. Mannat tells him she’ll make Ibadat sign the papers, but in return, he has to listen to her. She then asks him to come with her.
Scene 2
Armaan visits Kashaf’s clinic, and Sufi arrives shortly after. They both try to win her favor. She invites them to a donation drive. Sufi excuses himself, claiming he has a meeting. Armaan echoes the excuse, and they both quickly leave.
Hafeez tries to console Dua. Mannat brings Subhan to the house, where the whole family has gathered. Hamida asks what Mannat wants now. Mannat retrieves a jar of haldi and declares it will ignite people’s hearts against them. Ibadat arrives, and Mannat pours the haldi over herself, applying some to Subhan as well, and says, “Congratulations, we’ve just had our haldi ceremony.” She boasts that soon they will be married. Ibadat is visibly hurt by this. Hamida scolds her, saying, “You won’t win like this. You have no shame.” Mannat replies smugly that the truth is, their haldi ceremony just happened, and maybe a mehndi ceremony will follow soon. She grabs a knife and threatens to cut her hand, but Subhan stops her, telling her not to do something crazy. Mannat insists, “Let me show them the depth of my love,” before cutting her hand and using the blood to write an ‘S.’ Ibadat starts to leave, but Dua stops her, saying, “Another woman is claiming your husband, and you’re staying silent?” Ibadat, emotionally drained, responds, “Subhan was never mine, so I don’t care what they do anymore.” Mannat proclaims, “He was always mine and will always be mine.” She then announces that they’re getting married tomorrow, leaving Subhan in shock.
