Mishri 31st October 2024 Written Update
The police inspector arrests Parvathi, leaving Mishri pleading with him to release her, insisting that the video evidence is fake. Mishri even expresses her desire for a mother-in-law like Parvathi in her next life. The inspector, however, informs Raghav that while Parvathi may appear kind to him, she secretly mistreats her daughter-in-law. Mishri insists the video isn’t hers and must be a fabrication. Chithra supports her, noting that Mishri was celebrating Diwali with Raghav, showing no signs of injury, and suspects the video was created as a prank. Vaani, the true mastermind, is pleased her plan is unfolding and believes it will ruin Mishri’s love and family life.
Despite Mishri’s pleas, the inspector asserts that his hands are tied since the case was filed under women’s welfare. Vaani taunts Mishri, reminding her how Parvathi accepted her as a daughter-in-law, accusing Mishri of repaying this kindness with betrayal. Mishri firmly denies it, but Sulekha refuses to believe her.
The inspector assures Mishri she has nothing to fear and that they won’t harm her once they leave. Mishri, still distressed, asks Raghav to trust her, but he turns away, leaving her heartbroken. As Parvathi is taken away, Raghav attempts to secure her bail, while Vaani accuses Mishri of using Parvathi to seek revenge against Raghav, referencing the accident he caused involving Mishri’s grandmother. Sulekha questions Vaani’s accusations, and Vaani claims that Mishri can’t confront Raghav directly, so she’s targeting his family instead.
Mishri confronts Raghav, asserting that Vaani is lying and insisting she would never harm anyone. She swears on Kanha, declaring the video is fake, but Raghav pushes her away and walks off. Sulekha then instructs Mishri to stay away from Raghav and the family, barring her from the house. Chithra tries to understand why Mishri isn’t more assertive in declaring the video fake. Mishri explains that she has tried, but they won’t believe her. She suggests the person in the video resembles her, but Sulekha remains unconvinced.
Determined to prove Parvathi’s innocence, Mishri heads to the police station to advocate for her release. The inspector dismisses her claims, believing she’s only acting under family pressure. Raghav arrives and advises her not to complicate things further, while Parvathi endures hurtful comments from other prisoners. Mishri stands by Parvathi, arguing with the inspector. Vaani soon appears with a lawyer who, after examining the evidence, states he can’t secure Parvathi’s release due to its strength. Mishri counters that there’s no medical report or doctor’s statement to support the video’s claims, persuading the lawyer to consider her perspective.
Finally, Parvathi signs the form but then slaps Mishri, accusing her of revealing her “true colors” and regretting ever treating her kindly. Raghav is visibly torn, uncertain about whom to believe. Vaani seizes the opportunity to further turn the family against Mishri, who reassures them all that she’ll prove her innocence and free Parvathi, confident that Kanha will guide her to justice and expose the true culprit. Vaani, however, challenges Mishri, vowing to keep her out of Raghav’s life for good. Mishri firmly responds that Raghav and the family belong to her, and she’ll do whatever it takes to protect them. Vaani throws down a final challenge.
