Mishri 25th August 2024 Written Update
Kalpana confronts Sulekha, accusing her of having no right to speak about upbringing since her son betrayed her, and now her grandson is following in his footsteps. She points out that both men share the same blood and are alike. As the argument escalates, Parvathi raises her hand to slap Kalpana. Kalpana, stunned, demands to know how Parvathi dares to strike her. Mishri, who witnesses the heated exchange, is left in shock. The priest tries to comfort Mishri, assuring her that everything will improve once Raghav finds a good life partner. He blames Vaani for the family’s troubles, claiming she doesn’t know how to respect relationships. He tells Mishri that his blessings are with her and that her presence might help resolve the issues. Kalpana angrily drags Vaani away.
Later, Mishri appears dressed as a newlywed bride. Raghav, taken aback, asks her who she is. Mishri removes her veil, revealing herself, and Raghav is shocked to see her like this. He asks her what’s going on, and Mishri responds by asking if she looks good. She declares that she has decided to present herself like this from now on. Raghav is confused, and Mishri accuses him of knowing that she sacrificed her life for his and Vaani’s love. She says she believed in their love, but now she sees they are always fighting and might never get married. She declares that she wants her rightful place back as his wife.
Raghav, startled, questions how she can claim such rights. He accuses her of pretending to unite him and Vaani while secretly planning to take Vaani’s place in his life. He warns Mishri not to dream of replacing Vaani. Mishri insists that she deserves her rights as his wife. Raghav calls her greedy and cheap, but Mishri remains resolute, demanding that he tell everyone she is not a servant but the daughter-in-law of the house.
Raghav feels deeply betrayed, especially since Vaani considered Mishri like a sister. Mishri asks him to fill her hairline with vermillion, but Raghav refuses, saying he already made the mistake of doing that once and won’t repeat it. He emphasizes that she will never come between him and Vaani, stating that even if she were the last woman on earth, he wouldn’t accept her.
Despite his harsh words, Mishri remains undeterred and tells him that tomorrow is Janmashtami, and she plans to fulfill her duties as his wife. She advises him to sleep well, while Raghav remains determined not to let her create any misunderstandings between him and Vaani.
Later, Raghav meets Vaani and apologizes to her. Vaani asks if he regrets his actions now, especially after witnessing Parvathi raise her hand against her mother. She feels that everything has spiraled out of control, but Raghav tries to convince her that things weren’t like this before and that he wants to fix everything before it’s too late. Vaani, reassured, hugs him, and Raghav silently vows that Mishri won’t come between them.
The next day, Sulekha is surprised to see Mishri dressed beautifully. Mishri declares that this is how she will present herself from now on. Sulekha, puzzled, asks what this new drama is about. Mishri replies that it’s her truth and asks Raghav if she looks good, saying she wants to impress her husband. Sulekha remarks that Mishri seems to have gained some sense and then busies herself with her work. Meanwhile, Chithra thinks that Mishri is determined to stay in the house, and now, she feels powerless to protect Raghav any longer.
