Mishri 12th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Dadaji slapping Gopal, furious that he dared to harm Mishri. He reminds Gopal how they had always treated him like family and orders the inspector to arrest him. As the police take Gopal away, Ranjith smirks in satisfaction, but Mishri doesn’t feel relieved by the situation. Parvathi expresses her concern for Mishri, saying she’s been through so much because of Gopal. However, Vaani quickly interrupts, reminding everyone that Mishri is not her daughter-in-law and demands Raghav tell the truth. Raghav explains that the entire situation was just an act to catch Gopal red-handed. Mishri apologizes to Dadaji for lying, but Dadaji asks if she was demanding her rights in exchange for the lie.
Ridhi hugs Raghav, relieved that he didn’t marry Mishri, and remarks that she could never introduce a servant like Mishri as her sister-in-law without being ridiculed at college. Chithra adds that the family has been humiliated, which has even stopped her from going to work. When Dadaji asks if this is true, Kalpana steps in, asking if he needs any more proof. Dadaji admits that he can see the truth in Kalpana’s eyes.
Despite the accusations, Dadaji says he can’t believe everything was a lie. He points out how Mishri risked her life to save Raghav, showing no regard for her own injuries, and fought hard to get him out of jail. She treated the family as her own. Kalpana argues that Vaani still doesn’t grasp the situation and urges her to see the truth. Raghav then clarifies to Dadaji that it was all a staged drama to catch the culprit, and that he and Mishri only pretended to be husband and wife. He praises Mishri for caring so deeply about the family, though he emphasizes that Vaani is the one who truly matters to him. He adds that he and Vaani will marry soon.
Later, Mishri seems lost in thought. When Raghav asks her what’s on her mind, she admits she finds it hard to believe Gopal is the real culprit. Raghav agrees but dismisses her concerns, thinking she’s overthinking. Mishri insists that women never forget certain things, like a man’s touch, and she’s convinced someone else is responsible, though Gopal took the blame.
Just then, Ranjith arrives with drums, surprising the family. He announces that Supriya is pregnant, and everyone congratulates her. Mishri hugs Supriya but recalls how Ranjith once apologized to her, claiming he wanted to change and live for his child. He had asked Mishri to protect his reputation, saying if the truth came out, their child would suffer. Supriya feels guilty, knowing Gopal is being punished in place of Ranjith. Mishri wonders if she’s misunderstood the whole situation. Ranjith encourages Mishri to celebrate with them, but Kalpana orders her back to work.
Raghav hugs Mishri and calls her a lucky charm, noting how the family received such happy news after her arrival. Vaani, however, feels jealous, though she pretends to be happy and suggests they all celebrate. Later, Mishri packs her things to move out of Raghav’s room. Both Raghav and Mishri feel a pang of sadness but hide their emotions, pretending to be content with the situation. Raghav jokingly takes Mishri’s pillow, saying he’ll use it to express his feelings, and she lets him.
Vaani then asks Raghav to help her pick an earring, but he seems disinterested and makes an excuse to leave. Meanwhile, Mishri prepares for the upcoming puja. Dadaji tells Sulekha that Mishri has all the qualities needed to be the daughter-in-law of the house and that she is better suited for the role than Vaani. He believes Mishri cares more about the family than Vaani ever has.
Later, Ranjith forcefully makes Mishri eat a sweet, and she scolds him. He thinks to himself that she has no idea what’s in store for her during the Visarjan ceremony.
