Mera Balam Thanedaar 4th November 2024 Written Update
The episode opens with Ratan pulling back the blanket, revealing the sheikh and his wife in bed. Bulbul is relieved to see that Veer is wearing the beard. Sampoorna looks at Bulbul with suspicion. Veer gets up and tells Pakhiya that he will acquire ten wives for her, stating that he will divorce her. Pakhiya, upset, declares she will leave. Veer insists he will spend time with his beloved. Bulbul protests, telling him to leave her alone. Sampoorna comments that he is truly celebrating Diwali, having kept his end of the deal. Vayu remarks that the house feels lonely today, and Sulakshana reminisces about how the house used to be beautifully decorated for Diwali. Vayu warns that not celebrating is bad luck. Sulakshana asserts there’s no reason they can’t celebrate, comparing their situation to the return of Ram and Sita. Vishesh expresses concern about how to light the diya without Drishti discovering Veer is alive. Vayu reminds her how their father taught Bulbul to trick Drishti into going to college. Sulakshana notes that she knows how Bulbul deceived her, while Vayu and Vishesh mention that it’s a matter of reverse psychology.
The girls approach Sampoorna, expressing their desire to celebrate Diwali and perform the puja. Sampoorna laughs, taunting them that they will be thrown out of the city and their lives will be spent in the sheikh’s dark room. Bulbul overhears and tells her to stop laughing, massaging her head, saying the guards might fear they’ll blast crackers at them. Sampoorna mocks Bulbul’s hopes, saying her husband is dead, but Bulbul insists that her thanedar sa always wanted her to celebrate Diwali. Sampoorna declares she will see how they celebrate and storms off. Bulbul tells the girls that they will find a way to celebrate Diwali and that someone will help them.
Sulakshana throws flowers and decorations aside, declaring they will not celebrate Diwali because her Veer is gone, and Bulbul and Varnika are missing. Drishti overhears and questions the drama. Sulakshana demands Vishesh tell Drishti that they won’t light the diya or make sweets this year. Drishti insists they will celebrate, light diyas, and prepare sweets, bringing joy to Sulakshana, Vayu, and Vishesh.
Meanwhile, Veer tells Sampoorna that his beloved isn’t around, asking for her or the advance of $10,000. Ratan and Gitika inform him that Bulbul is missing. Veer says he won’t take any of the girls and decides to leave. Sampoorna tells him to stay, insisting they will search for Bulbul. They exit, and Sampoorna locks the door, instructing the guards to wait outside and prevent the sheikh from leaving or anyone from entering.
Veer pulls back the curtain, calling for Bulbul to come out, stating he has completed her task. Bulbul emerges from under a table, where a God idol is placed. She hugs Veer and dances with him, and the girls enter, shocked. Bulbul reassures them, explaining that he is her thanedar sa and their Veer jiju sa. Veer removes his beard and turban, announcing he will save them all.
A girl named Priya expresses gratitude for Veer’s efforts, asking how he survived after Sampoorna stabbed him. Veer replies they will discuss it after everyone escapes and returns home. Bulbul reassures the girls that they will return to their families. Priya worries her family won’t accept her. Bulbul counters that if her thanedar sa and baba sa accepted her, why wouldn’t their families? Priya states not everyone is as lucky. Bulbul insists it’s about winning hearts with love, trust, and closeness, encouraging Priya to call her family. Veer hands her his mobile. Priya calls her father, who agrees to come pick her up. Bulbul video calls all the girls’ families, assuring them their daughters will come home. Veer suggests they celebrate Diwali, anticipating Sampoorna’s arrival. Bulbul declares they should perform the puja together as a couple and embraces Veer. Meanwhile, Sampoorna and Ratan search for Bulbul. The girls light the place with diyas while Bulbul and Veer perform the aarti and puja together. Sampoorna asks her men if they have found Bulbul, but they shake their heads. Ratan remarks that the entire city is celebrating Diwali without knowing where she is. Sampoorna recalls Bulbul’s words and tells her goons to follow her.
She orders Ratan into the car, but he insists they will not leave Bulbul behind. Bulbul chants “Lakshmi Mata ki Jai,” giving aarti to Veer, who takes it and reciprocates. Bulbul gazes at him fondly.
Drishti lights diyas, while Vishesh hopes that Sulakshana and Vayu are successful. Sulakshana and Vayu head to Drishti’s room, where Sulakshana mentions that her mother has given her some documents that Drishti has stored in her room. She plans to retrieve them before Drishti arrives. Priya suggests they pack their bags to elope the next day. Veer tells Bulbul to pack her things as well. Bulbul stops him, expressing her happiness and fearing that her joy may bring her bad luck. She tells him they are free of misunderstandings and distance now, asking if he is no longer angry with her. He responds that he was never angry with her, only the circumstances, acknowledging that she always had good intentions for his family and stood by them. He adds that he didn’t realize she was just 17 and had done everything she was asked. He admits both made mistakes and asks for her forgiveness.
Drishti decides to light more diyas in her room to welcome Lakshmi and heads toward the room. Sulakshana retrieves the papers from the cupboard just as Drishti is about to open the door, alerting Vayu and Sulakshana. Bulbul hugs Veer, asking if he will make her cry on this festive day and apologizing for her past mistakes. She expresses a wish for all the girls to return home safely. Veer assures her it will happen. Just then, Sampoorna and her crew arrive at the ashram, unlocking the door to find the place illuminated with diyas and Bulbul standing there. Sampoorna scolds Bulbul and demands to know the whereabouts of Sheikh Sulaiman. Bulbul replies that he had prasad laddoos and fell asleep. Sampoorna angrily knocks the aarti plate to the ground, vowing to stop her from celebrating Diwali, and grabs a diya placed before the idol. Bulbul looks on, tense and anxious.
