Mera Balam Thanedaar 27th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Veer reflecting on Vishesh’s words that Vansh is the son of the house, and recalling Vansh telling Bulbul that he is in ACP’s place, an orphan, but also the son of this house. He struggles with his emotions. Bulbul enters the room. Veer shuts his eyes and pretends to sleep when he hears the door sound. Bulbul approaches him and says that today she learned a big, painful truth, but that she will always be by his side. She kisses his forehead and is about to leave, when Veer grabs her hand and sits up. Bulbul says she understands he must have many thoughts in his heart right now. Veer says he is grateful to have Maa and Papa as his parents, for their love, upbringing, values, and blessings. He expresses sorrow for Vansh, who was deprived of these things. Bulbul reassures him that soon, Vansh will receive Maasa’s love, Babasa’s jokes, and the affection of siblings. Veer mentions that he thought that just like Papa missed his son, his own Papa might be missing him too. He reflects on how when he met Chandrakant Ji, he didn’t know he was his father. He wonders if even he missed him like Papa missed Vansh.
Bulbul offers to accompany him to meet Chandrakant Ji, vowing to stand by him like a mountain. Veer asks her to wait a bit longer, then holds her hand. They stumble and sit on the bed. Veer rests his head on her shoulder. Bulbul reminds him of his promise to stay away for two months. Veer asks her to leave, saying he’s upset with her. She asks why. Veer responds that she didn’t tell him the truth. Bulbul admits she thought he couldn’t handle it and might become weak. She recalls when she told him the truth like a story, he realized that what he thought was his right was actually a favor. Veer acknowledges that he was broken for a moment and felt lonely, but then Maa, Papa, Vishesh Bhai, and others reassured him, saying that he is their son and will always be their son. He resolves that he will always be Veer Pratap Singh, but that Vansh will receive the love he deserves. He feels indebted to him. Meanwhile, Vansh vows to return the hatred of 27 years, saying he will cause a major theft and ruin Veer’s city of Ajmer. He promises never to forgive Veer or his family.
Sulakshana confronts Vardhan, saying she can never forgive him. Vardhan admits he didn’t know how to tell her. Sulakshana is upset, feeling betrayed, and says Veer is her son, whom she loves dearly, but she can never forgive him for hiding such a significant truth.
The next morning, Bulbul enters the kitchen and takes Sulakshana’s blessings. She notices a variety of food has already been prepared and remarks that Sulakshana made all of Thanedar Sa’s favorite dishes. Sulakshana reveals that today is both Veer and Vansh’s birthday. Bulbul knows Veer’s preferences but is unsure about Vansh’s. Bulbul offers to cook, but Sulakshana insists on doing it herself. Drishti enters and informs that Vishesh is going out but will return in time for the rasam. Bulbul says she’ll take the breakfast to Vishesh, but Drishti says she’ll handle it. She takes the food to Vishesh and subtly provokes him against Veer, calling him the son of a thief, even though he is a police officer. She says Maasa and Babasa made a mistake by leaving everything to Veer. Vishesh starts to think deeply. Drishti is pleased, thinking his doubts will be cleared after she causes a scene during the Annaprasana rasam.
As the women gather for the Annaprasana rasam, they talk about Veer being an outsider, not Sulakshana’s biological son. One of the women comments that when the truth is revealed, even those who are dear can seem like strangers. Veer overhears this. Bulbul steps in and says that if 108 names of Kanha Ji are recited during Karthik Maas, all sins are washed away. One woman expresses that she has never heard of this. Bulbul continues, saying, “You have heard it from me now,” and insists that chanting God’s name is the best thing. She begins with “Shyam Sundar,” and the other women join in, saying “Murlidhar,” “Gopal,” and “Yashoda Nandan.” Bulbul reminds them that Yashoda is not Krishna’s biological mother, yet the world recognizes their bond. She sings a bhajan and leads the aarti. She explains that while everyone speaks different names of Krishna, no one ever refers to Devki Nandan. She says that a mother’s love should never be doubted, whether a child is born from her womb or from her heart. The women realize their mistake and apologize to Sulakshana. Sulakshana says that she knows both Veer and she will give Vansh the same love, adding that she cannot find a better bride than Bulbul. Bulbul, smiling, says, “Taking emergency light.” Drishti, however, thinks to herself that she’s eager to see what will happen when Veer’s own son faces danger today. Vardhan tries to speak to Sulakshana, who is still upset. She announces that the Annaprasana rasam will begin. Vayu tells Vardhan that Maa is upset, and Vardhan admits that he made a big mistake.
Veer and Vansh sit on the swing for the rasam, but Vansh claims the spot first, covering the entire swing. Veer smiles. Bulbul watches and thinks that Vansh is taking advantage of Veer’s kindness. She jokes about an insect being present and makes Vansh move, allowing Veer to sit beside him. Vansh glares at her. Bulbul explains it was just a joke. Vansh declares that he will prove to be heavier than all of them. Sulakshana prepares to do their aarti and applies tilak to Vansh first when he holds her hand and insists she do it for him first. She then applies the tilak to Veer. The women remark that Sulakshana should perform Vansh’s Annaprasana first. Bulbul wonders whom Sulakshana will feed first.
