Mera Balam Thanedaar 20th December 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Drishti seeing Veer and the constables unconscious. She takes the keys from his pocket and says, “Sweet dreams, Veer.” She opens the door and enters the room that Veer and his constables were guarding. She closes the door and notices someone sitting on the chair. She says, “Ratan Chauhan, I helped you so much, and you wanted to expose me, and your cheap goons couldn’t even handle some kids.” She continues, “If you had followed my plan, Vansh would have died at Bulbul’s hands, and this Singh family would have been destroyed. I would have gotten all this property and given you your share too.” She says, “But you wanted to give testimony in court.” She picks up a big hammer and is about to hit him when Bulbul rises from the sofa and removes her wig. She says, “Thanedar sa, I knew it was easy to fool you. My thanedar is a fantastic actor.” She adds, “He wasn’t unconscious.” She then reveals the confession is recorded. Just as Drishti is about to hit her with the hammer, Veer enters and warns her. Bulbul recalls seeing Drishti mix something in the coffee. Drishti hides the hammer behind Bulbul’s forehead, causing Bulbul to faint and fall down. Veer shouts, “Bulbul!”
Sulakshana confronts Drishti and slaps her hard. She says, “How can a person stoop so low? You’ve done so much wrong against every family member here, yet we forgave you, letting you stay as part of this family since you’re carrying a baby. At least for the baby’s sake, you should have changed. But you can’t change because you’re not even human.” Vishesh says, “I will file for divorce and custody of my baby.” Vardhan adds, “Once the baby is born, we will bring them here into this house.” Veer says, “Our law doesn’t allow a criminal to stay with an innocent baby.” Sulakshana asks about Bulbul. Veer says, “It’s a minor injury; she’s fine.” Vardhan praises Bulbul, saying that Drishti can’t harm her. Sulakshana says, “I’ve always forgiven her, but now I won’t. She must leave and never look back at this house.” Dhruv arrives to arrest Drishti and informs everyone that, since she’s pregnant, she will be sent to a women’s rehabilitation center.
Later, Veer sits by Bulbul’s side as she remains unconscious. Sulakshana and Vardhan come in, asking how she is. Veer says she is better now. Sulakshana says, “She’s like a fighter plane; she will get up and say ‘ole ole’.” Bulbul opens her eyes and asks, “Where am I?” She asks, “Who am I?” Veer says, “I am Veer, your thanedar sa.” She asks, “Am I in jail? Bulbul stays on a tree, not in jail.” Veer says, “I am your thanedar sa, your husband.” She replies, “What are you saying? You are my husband, and now you’re saying you want to marry me?” She gestures to ask if he’s alright. “Are you mad to marry someone like me?” she adds. Sulakshana calls her “Bindni.” Bulbul calls her “Aunty ji,” asking if she’s not getting a wife for her son. Veer tells Sulakshana to pick a girl for him and says he will marry the one she chooses in two hours. Sulakshana agrees, adding that the girl must know cooking, and says “ole ole” again. Veer hands clothes to Bulbul, asking her to wear them and come to the marriage. Bulbul asks, “Where will I go?” She adds, “Our drama has cost us.” Vardhan suggests she act until Veer pleads with her to marry him. Bulbul agrees, saying she’ll remove the bad sight from him.
Sulakshana asks Veer if Bulbul has truly lost her memory. Veer says, “She’s Bulbul, and she wants me to convince her and plead with her. She’ll come around.” Sulakshana says, “I like Rathore’s daughter.” Veer replies, “Rashi is an IAS officer.”
Sulakshana praises Vansh, saying he looks good. Vansh replies, “You look good too.” Bulbul enters, explaining she’s wearing the clothes from the room because thanedar sa asked her to. Veer and his bride enter, and Sulakshana compliments them, asking Veer to put a mangalsutra and sindoor on his bride. Bulbul stops Veer, saying, “If something happens to me, you’ll bring someone else.” Veer reminds her of their earlier drama in the room. Everyone laughs. Bulbul looks at the bride’s face and recognizes Vayu. Vayu says, “I’m still on your side.” Sulakshana pulls Bulbul’s ear, calling her “Aunty sa.” Bulbul apologizes, saying it was a mistake. Everyone smiles.
Veer and Bulbul exchange garlands, and the song Mera Balam plays. Veer puts the mangalsutra on her and fills her maang with sindoor. They touch Sulakshana and Vardhan’s feet. Sulakshana tells Bulbul not to lie again, and Bulbul says she won’t. Veer jokingly says she’s lying again and shows her crossed fingers. He asks, “When will you mend your ways, Bulbul?” Everyone replies, “Never.” Bulbul dances and performs a ghumar dance, then hugs Sulakshana. All the family members pose together. Veer tells Sulakshana and Vardhan he wants to speak to Bulbul, then lifts her and takes her to their room. She smiles as she looks at him. Just before she goes, he holds her hand and brings her in front of him. Veer says, “My beautiful thanedarni sa, my wife number one, Bulbul Veer Pratap Singh, I love you so much.” Bulbul replies, “I love you one million, my ati cute pati cute, my balam thanedar.” Veer kisses her. The show ends with a happy family picture.
