Mera Balam Thanedaar 17th September 2024 Written Update
The Episode starts with Drishti revealing Siddharth’s true identity by removing his fake moustache and beard. She recalls checking Bulbul’s report and discovering the truth about Dr. Siddharth Jain. She asked Supriya for his photo and matched it with Veer’s description of Vani’s Siddharth. After digitally adding a moustache and beard to his photo, she confirmed that Dr. Jain was indeed the same man. Flashback ends. Drishti turns to Sulakshana and asks if she recognizes him now. Furious, Sulakshana begins slapping Siddharth and grabs him by the collar. Veer angrily declares that Siddharth is the doctor who performed Bulbul’s operation, questioning why he returned disguised as Vani’s doctor. Sulakshana introduces Siddharth as the man who ruined Vani’s life, abandoned her, and caused her mental breakdown. Enraged, Veer starts beating Siddharth, but Bulbul intervenes, saying Siddharth came back because she asked him to. Drishti chimes in, revealing that Bulbul had known Siddharth’s identity for a while.
Veer, still furious, demands an explanation from Bulbul. Drishti explains that Bulbul had been secretly observing Siddharth and Vani at the hospital and had orchestrated their meeting. Veer recalls these moments and grows even angrier, accusing Bulbul of hiding everything from him while Siddharth treated Vani. Drishti adds that Siddharth was taking advantage of Vani’s innocence once again. Siddharth defends himself, saying his intentions were pure, but Vishesh nearly attacks him with a stand, only stopping when Vani steps in to protect Siddharth. Veer, filled with rage, vows to punish Siddharth for his crime and turns to Bulbul, reminding her that this is a serious offense. Bulbul flashes back to Rudra’s words about the POCSO law. Veer forces Siddharth into his car, but as Siddharth is dragged away, he begs Bulbul to tell Vani that he couldn’t keep his promise.
Vani, distressed, asks Bulbul if everything will be alright and says she will leave if she is separated from Siddharth. Drishti arrives and taunts Bulbul, accusing her of poisoning Vani’s mind. Bulbul, undeterred, vows to stand against Veer if necessary. She insists that during the Ganpati Visarjan, she will unite Vani and Siddharth and end their suffering. Bulbul quickly calls Riya for help.
Meanwhile, Veer is driving Siddharth to the police station and instructs Dhruv to file an FIR against Dr. Siddharth Jain under the POCSO Act. Dhruv agrees. Suddenly, a young girl approaches Veer, pleading for help to take her father to the hospital. Veer, trusting her, stops the car to assist. While Veer is distracted, Bulbul arrives on her scooty, telling Siddharth to follow her lead. Siddharth escapes with Bulbul, who punctures Veer’s car tire before leaving. Veer realizes too late what has happened and angrily confronts the girl and her father, only to learn that they were paid to act.
At home, Vyom innocently asks everyone if Magic Uncle is his father, stating that he plans to ask Popsi. Veer returns and calls for Bulbul. Vyom repeats his question, leaving Veer stunned. Veer gently tells Vyom that he’s too young to understand and promises to make everything right. After Vyom is taken inside, Sulakshana asks about Siddharth, and Veer bitterly reveals that Bulbul has eloped with him. Vardhan is shocked, and Drishti admits she saw Bulbul heading to Vani’s room but didn’t say anything earlier. They rush to Vani’s room and find her jewelry scattered and a dupatta tied to the window. Sulakshana is horrified to see bridal clothes missing—the same ones she wore nine years ago.
Bulbul sends a voice message to Veer, stating that she is arranging Vani and Siddharth’s marriage today, ensuring that Vani receives the respect she deserves. The entire family rushes to the temple, unaware that Bulbul and Vani are still hiding at home. Bulbul reassures Vani and asks her to look at Siddharth, who expresses his commitment to marry Vani. Overjoyed, Vani dances with happiness. Bulbul enlists the help of Riya and some friends, asking Pandit Ji to conduct the marriage ceremony quickly. Pandit Ji estimates it will take 3-4 hours, but Bulbul urges him to finish within 30 minutes. The mandap is hastily prepared, and Vani is dressed for the wedding.
At the temple, Sulakshana and the others arrive but cannot find Vani. Pandit Ji informs them that the puja is actually happening at their home. Veer deduces that Bulbul has tricked them and rushes back home with the family. Meanwhile, the marriage ceremony progresses, with Siddharth tying the mangalsutra around Vani’s neck and applying sindoor. Pandit Ji declares the marriage complete, and Vani beams with joy.
As Veer and his family storm into the house, Veer refuses to acknowledge the marriage. He glares at Bulbul with intense anger. Bulbul approaches Sulakshana, who, in her fury, slaps Bulbul across the face.
