Mera Balam Thanedaar 16th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Vansh performing magic tricks for Vyom. Bulbul watches them connecting and feels happy. Vani and Vyom both exclaim “Wow!” Vayu asks if he can do it too, but fails, which makes everyone laugh. Bulbul removes the bad sight from them and shows her own magic trick. Vansh rewards her with chocolate. Vyom says, “You are the best,” and Vansh replies, “You’re my cute friend, so I’m your buddy.” Vardhan, observing them, asks about the magic. Vansh offers chocolate to Bulbul, who thanks him. She mentions to Vardhan that she is going to give it to Thanedar Sa. Vardhan informs her that Veer has gone to Delhi for the necklace case, and Sulakshana is also out. He asks her to light a diya for Veer, as Sulakshana instructed. Bulbul agrees and reflects on her plan to make Vansh meet DGP and Champak soon.
Meanwhile, Drishti is pleased, thinking she now has the proof against Vansh. She recalls Ratan giving her the proof in case Vansh changes his story. She plans to deliver it to Veer, knowing that once Vansh is arrested, Bulbul and Veer will be out of the picture. She calls someone, saying the parcel is ready. Bulbul, on her way to the temple, tells the driver to place the items in the car. She notices Drishti approaching and scares her, causing the envelope to fall from Drishti’s hand. Bulbul offers to pick it up, but Drishti grabs it first and tells Bulbul her cab has arrived, quickly leaving. Bulbul becomes suspicious and decides to find out what Drishti is hiding. Drishti hands the envelope to a biker dressed like Agent Baby and instructs him to deliver it to the correct place. The biker leaves.
At the temple, Bulbul lights the diya, praying to God to reveal whether Drishti is plotting something. As she prays, a flower falls on her. Bulbul smiles, thinking her prayer has been answered. Champak, disguised as a pandit, throws a flower on her and she scolds him for pretending to be a pandit. Champak reveals his true identity and explains that he’s looking for another job. He mentions that earlier Bulbul wanted to make Vansh a government witness, and now she’s sending proofs to Veer. Bulbul is confused, and Champak says he saw someone delivering the envelope Bulbul sent to Veer outside the police station. Bulbul insists she promised to make Vansh a government witness, and they need to stop Veer from reading the envelope.
At the police station, the commissioner asks Dhruv about Veer. Dhruv informs him that Veer is in Delhi investigating the Queen necklace theft. The commissioner spots the envelope and picks it up. Bulbul arrives and greets him. She notices the envelope and quickly devises a plan to destroy it. She distracts the officers by offering sweets like kachoris and samosas and tells them to eat while she performs a magic trick. As she dips the envelope in water, the pieces scatter into the air.
The commissioner is upset and asks what she has done, as it was confidential. Bulbul claims it was a love letter to Veer, scented with rose perfume. The commissioner says she should have informed them, but Bulbul brushes it off, saying how could she say such things in front of her Baba Sa. She urges everyone to eat and leaves. At home, Bulbul informs Vardhan that she lit the diya and visited the police station, where she learned Veer would return in 2-3 days. Drishti overhears and calls the police station, where the constable confirms Bulbul destroyed the envelope. Drishti is furious. Bulbul tells herself she has to make Vansh a police witness to save him. Drishti smirks, thinking that despite all her efforts, Bulbul won’t be able to save Vansh.
Later, Vyom waits for Bulbul to go to the picnic. Drishti informs him that Bulbul called to say she couldn’t make it. Vani doesn’t believe her and calls Bulbul, but Bulbul is riding her scooter and misses the call. Drishti says she will go instead. Vansh disagrees, saying he will go with Vyom. Vyom excitedly offers to introduce Vansh to his friends. They leave, and Drishti feels her plan is progressing.
Meanwhile, Dhruv informs Veer that the forensic report confirms the blood found at the temple matches. Veer is shocked and concludes that Vansh must be the thief. His heart heavy, Veer prepares to arrest his brother. Dhruv is surprised and asks if Veer is really going to arrest Vansh. Veer, resolute, says his duty comes first. He heads out to arrest Vansh, torn by the decision.
