Mera Balam Thanedaar 14th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sulakshana telling Bulbul that a wife is the shield for her husband, and it is her duty to solve all his problems, which is why she is called the Dharm Patni. Pandit Ji mentions that Veer Sa’s birthday is coming up next week and predicts that something big will happen, possibly a storm. He advises them to perform a Dev Aarti and have his wife perform the Tulsi Vivah to reduce any potential trouble. Bulbul reassures herself, thinking that God will not do anything wrong to them, and recalls the wise words that they should live for the present, not worry about the future. She says they should celebrate the fact that Veer will be receiving his uniform tomorrow. Later that night, Bulbul calls Varnika and finds her sleeping. She enters Veer’s room and talks to the hanger hook, saying that he won’t be alone anymore, as his thanedar uniform will be here soon. She gets to work.
The next morning, Veer wakes up to find balloons and ribbons decorating his hanger, and he becomes emotional thinking about his uniform. Bulbul enters and coughs. He asks if she is responsible for this. She teases him, asking if he thought an apsara had done it. He tells her that she is no less than one. She calls him her cute husband, and he approaches her. She reminds him that he can’t get too close until they are legally married. “Mera Balam Thanedar” plays in the background. Veer jokes that marriage isn’t needed for romance, and they can marry again if needed. Bulbul replies that Pandit Ji has advised they must wait for two months before they can marry and asks him to maintain distance. He wonders what the issue is, and she hesitates to tell him, thinking he would dismiss it as blind faith. She explains that the auspicious marriage date is in two months. Veer happily says the best moments will come when they are together.
Vayu, Varnika, and others enter, and Vayu says they must follow Pandit Ji’s advice. Varnika humorously asks Veer to keep a one-hand distance. Sulakshana reminds Bulbul that she will stay in the same house, but they must follow the distance rule. Vayu jokes to Veer about controlling himself for now. Vardhan talks about the old slow and steady kind of love. Vani says their romance never ends. Bulbul smiles and says their romance will never end. Veer then says it’s time for him to reunite with his first love, and his uniform is waiting.
The Commissioner tells Dhruv to check on the preparations, and Dhruv informs that Veer has arrived with his family. The Commissioner greets Vardhan and Sulakshana, praising Veer for his past work in fighting illegal activities, including a human trafficking racket. He tells Veer that he is proud of him. Veer thanks the Commissioner, attributing his success to his support and encouragement. Vardhan credits Bulbul for her unwavering trust and determination in getting Veer his uniform back. Dhruv expresses his desire to see Veer back in uniform.
Later, the Commissioner addresses the gathering, announcing that Veer is regaining his position and uniform due to public demand, even though he had stepped away from duty while being innocent. He calls Veer to come forward and accept his uniform and position. Veer messages Bulbul, saying he won’t accept it unless she gives him a kiss. Bulbul thinks about what to do and places balloons near the tea kettle. As it bursts, everyone looks in surprise. Bulbul kisses Veer on the cheek. He asks where she comes up with such ideas, and Dhruv brushes it off, saying it’s nothing. The Commissioner then formally hands over the uniform, placing the hat on Veer and attaching the stars to his shoulders. Veer becomes emotional, his eyes filled with tears. Vani celebrates, saying Veer has his uniform back, while Varnika calls him the best.
Sulakshana prays for Veer and her children. Vardhan gets a call informing him that Chandrakant’s condition is worsening, and he wants to meet him. Vardhan reflects that the secret he has kept hidden for so long is about to be revealed. Veer arrives and touches Vardhan’s feet. Vardhan tells him that they must visit the hospital in Kendriya jail. He folds his hands, and Veer asks why he is doing so. Vardhan explains that it is because of a long-standing bond. Veer agrees to take him there.
At the hospital, Vardhan explains that Chandrakant was once a gangster’s right hand, but after he became a government witness, he helped him. He tells Veer that they share a unique connection. When they meet Chandrakant, he becomes emotional. Vardhan introduces Veer and Bulbul to him. After a brief conversation, Veer gets a call. Vardhan asks Veer and Bulbul to leave. As they leave, Chandrakant thanks Vardhan for changing his life and giving him respect in society. Vardhan admits that while he gave Chandrakant a second chance, he also lost something important, referring to his son.
Chandrakant recalls the night when his son was born, and Vardhan explains that he had taken his son after his own was kidnapped by his enemies. He tells Chandrakant that he saved his son, but in return, he lost his own. Chandrakant expresses his gratitude and acknowledges that Vardhan did him a huge favor. He then reveals that no one in the family knew that Veer is his son. He prays that Veer’s true son will soon be found. Veer and Bulbul listen in silence.
