Mera Balam Thanedaar 13th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Vansh asking Veer to place all the jewelry in the locker and says that this jewelry will never be sold. He adds that you are very cute and the best mother in the world, so kind and always wanting to fulfill the wishes of your spoiled son, but when desires turn into stubbornness, there should be an elder brother who guides and shows the right path. He shares that he has longed for a family since childhood, and now that he has one, he doesn’t want anything else. He expresses that he has loving parents, caring siblings, and doesn’t need anything more. Sulakshana calls out to him, and he continues, mentioning that someone taught him today that when you have so many relationships, you don’t need anything more, and he feels content. He hugs Sulakshana. Bulbul smiles and says he has spoken well, proving that he is indeed a precious gem. Veer wonders if Vansh is acting. Vardhan apologizes to Vansh and hugs him. Vansh thanks Bulbul, saying that because of her, he understood the value of family, or else he doesn’t know how many hearts he would have broken. Bulbul reassures him, saying that will never happen. Vansh tells her he will call her Bhabhi once he has mended his ways completely. He says the day he changes fully, he will take on the brother-in-law’s duties and call her Bhabhi. Bulbul smiles, saying he will change soon and removes any bad sight from him.
Vansh tells Sulakshana that he wants to be an honest person like her other children. He expresses his desire to become so successful that he will buy her jewelry and make her proud. He says he wants to be someone she can be proud of, just like she is proud of Vishesh and Veer Bhai. Vardhan hugs him. Vayu teases him, saying that Maa is proud of him too. Drishti, however, plans to destroy the family’s happiness the next day.
Veer is convinced that Vansh stole the idol. He reflects that first, Bulbul refused to give him 30 Lakhs, then she refused to sign the property papers, and later brought back the idol. He suspects she is hiding something from him. He recalls seeing Vansh at the chemical shop that day, but he had ignored him when he noticed Ratan. Veer wonders if Ratan and Vansh are together and involved in stealing the queen necklace. He also considers whether Vansh could be the mastermind behind the ATM theft, as the thief vanished, and then Vansh was found injured in the temple. Veer is increasingly suspicious that Vansh is the person they’ve been searching for. Vansh and the family share a hug. Vansh signals Veer to come, and Veer moves toward him, but his sleeve pin breaks. As he hugs Vansh, Vansh gets injured on his hand. Veer asks Bulbul to bring the first aid kit, and Siddharth tends to the injury. Veer takes a cotton swab with Vansh’s blood on it, hiding it in his pocket. Vani tells Bulbul they need to go to Jaipur for Vyom’s school field trip and will return in the evening. She asks if Bulbul will come with her, but Bulbul explains she has some work to do, promising to join later.
Vardhan asks Sulakshana to forgive him, saying that Vansh no longer has any complaints. He jokingly says he hasn’t heard “patrakaar sa” from her in a while, to which she calls him “Patrakaar sa,” and they both laugh.
Bulbul brings chocolate milk for Veer, who enters the room and contemplates how to make her confess the truth. He believes she won’t tell him easily. Bulbul notices a wine bottle in his hand and asks if he is trying to become a devdas. He responds, saying he doesn’t need wine to get intoxicated, just her eyes are enough. He kisses her forehead, and she asks why he’s saying such things if he’s not drunk. Veer replies he brought the bottle to romance his wife and play a game of “truth or dare.” Bulbul is curious about the game, and he explains the rules. She agrees to play, and it’s Veer’s turn first. Bulbul asks him to choose “truth or dare,” and he picks “dare.” She asks him to dance and says she hasn’t seen him dance in a while. He dances, and Bulbul praises him, calling him her “ati cute pati cute,” hoping he remains free of bad sights. When it’s Bulbul’s turn, Veer asks her to choose “truth or dare.” She opts for “truth.” He asks her what’s happening, and she responds that she will tell him those three magical words after marriage. He insists on knowing about Vansh. Bulbul recalls saying that the idol was polished, but Veer reveals he checked and found that it wasn’t. Bulbul is worried that Veer is doubting Vansh, and thinks about how to explain it to him. She changes the topic and asks him to trust her, hoping he will.
Bulbul arrives at Champak’s office, apologizing for being late. She suggests they meet between 12-4 pm next time. Champak responds that since she’s working with them, the work will be done according to their schedule. Bulbul serves him food—achaar, kachori, and sweets—and shares the good news that Vansh has changed and mended his ways. She says she plans to convince him to reveal the names of all the thieves. Champak looks on with interest. Meanwhile, Veer asks Dhruv to check the blood sample they received from the temple against the one he obtained from Vansh’s injury.
Vansh is playing hide and seek with the family when Drishti approaches him. She taunts him, saying that if he believes all his sins will be forgiven and he will be accepted by the family, he’s mistaken. She warns him that Veer will arrest him. Bulbul, on the other hand, tells Champak that she doesn’t want Vansh’s name to be exposed because the family loves him dearly. Champak reassures her that the identity of informers is always confidential. Drishti continues to manipulate Vansh, saying he is blinded by his hope, but he confidently replies that he knows how to test and identify people. He asserts that his family is good and that if anyone is selfish and cunning, it is her. He warns Drishti to stay away, saying he may go to jail, but he will kick her out of the house, as his mother listens to him deeply. Vayu, Vyom, and the others enter, and Vansh explains that he had caught Drishti mistakenly. Veer continues to suspect that Vansh is guilty, but his plans are yet to unfold. Drishti, however, remains determined to ruin Vansh, plotting to make him regret going against her.
