Mera Balam Thanedaar

Mera Balam Thanedaar 10th September 2024 Written Update

The episode starts with Veer wondering where Bulbul went so early at 5 am. He thinks about placing a GPS tracker on her, joking that he spends more time searching for her than catching thieves. Stepping outside the house, he spots Bulbul making an idol of God and smiles. Bulbul notices a crack in the idol and wonders if it’s a sign from God. She prays, asking how she will save her marriage from Dhristi if she tries to separate her from Thanedar Sa. She pleads for God’s blessing to protect her marriage from Dhristi’s evil intentions. Veer quietly approaches and sits beside her. A song plays softly in the background. Bulbul slips, and the clay from her hands smears on his face as she tries to steady herself. She attempts to clean his face, but instead, he rubs his cheek against hers playfully. He remarks, “Some marks are meant to stay.” Veer then shares, “On this day, I’ve kept the Teej fast for my Parvati, so that nothing can separate Veer and Bulbul.” Bulbul thinks to herself that Thanedar Sa is innocent and strong, like Lord Shiva, and wonders what will happen when he discovers the truth about her age. He notices her tension and asks if Dhristi is bothering her. He reassures her, “We’ll handle her like we did last time. I thought Dhristi was sweet like her mother, but she’s more like her father,” and laughs. Seeing Bulbul’s serious expression, he quickly clarifies that he didn’t mean it in a bad way. Bulbul gets an idea to use Devender to retrieve the keys from Dhristi and thanks Veer for the inspiration. He asks, “What idea?” She responds, “You’ll know soon enough.”

Later, Sulakshana asks Bulbul if the idol is ready. Bulbul proudly shows the finished idol, and Sulakshana praises it. Dhristi asks if the *Prasad* is prepared, to which Bulbul responds sarcastically, “You got a promotion, but didn’t give us any sweets. I thought you were a lawyer, but you’re acting like a judge, giving orders. I only follow my *Maasa’s* orders, not those of a house intruder.” Dhristi asserts, “I’m the mistress of the house because I hold the keys.” Bulbul challenges her, “Just because you have the keys doesn’t make you the mistress.” She then asks Dhristi to go and get ready. Bulbul also whispers something to Vayu, who leaves to carry out the task. Sulakshana tells Bulbul to get ready as well. Dhristi, suspicious of Bulbul’s intentions, vows to hold onto the keys tightly, thinking to herself, “Try and take them from me if you can.”

Devender and Gita arrive at Vardhan’s house. Gita expresses her disappointment with Bulbul, saying, “We’re upset with you.” Devender adds, “Me too.” Bulbul playfully asks, “Should I do sit-ups as punishment?” Gita laughs and says, “No, it’s just good that your in-laws aren’t blaming us.” Devender chimes in, “You should be happy that your elder sister became the daughter-in-law of such a big house. Both of you will rule here.” Bulbul agrees but adds, “But Dhristi snatched the keys from me as soon as she arrived, and Vardhan gave her 10 lakh rupees to store in the locker today. There’s so much money in the locker that even if some lakhs go missing, no one would notice.” Devender, shocked, decides to go speak with Dhristi. Bulbul explains her plan to Gita, determined to get the keys back no matter what.

Sulakshana admires the plates everyone has prepared. Meanwhile, Vani takes Bulbul’s phone and thinks about calling Siddhu but instead sees Dr. Jain’s number and decides to call him. Dr. Jain answers, but seeing Sulakshana nearby, he quickly ends the call. Vani tries to cover up by saying she wasn’t talking to anyone. Sulakshana checks the phone and only sees a game open. She tells Vani to go sit down.

Devender goes to Dhristi’s room and praises her for managing to get the keys. Dhristi responds, “You left me on my own. Whatever I’ve done, I’ve done by myself.” He then tricks her, causing her saree to get ruined. While Dhristi goes to change, Devender sneaks into the room and opens the almirah, only to find a snake sitting on the locker. Bulbul, pretending to be the snake, speaks in a disguised voice, warning Devender for attempting to steal from the locker. Terrified, Devender thinks the snake is talking to him and quickly apologizes before running out. Bulbul, amused, thanks Vayu for finding such a realistic snake prop. Vayu hands Bulbul the keys, and she thinks to herself, “Now I can finally retrieve the age file from the locker.”
